Overpriced Prison Cell! Absolutely terrible experience! it looks nice on the outside, but beware! First, we had to move to another room because the AC was broken, literally bashed in by the previous guests. And the staff didn't see that!?! Then, in the next room, the light fixture was broken, the shower didn't work properly, and the room itself was just too small and quite empty. For example, the bathroom had no hooks or towel bars for towels, no artwork, just bare walls. The room looked more like a prison cell than a hotel room. The bed was uncomfortably hard and you could hear other guests through the walls! I can't believe I paid $455 for just two nights! On top of that, they even charged $20 per night for parking! Highway robbery!!! I'll never stay at this hotel again!

Friends trip to SD So the first time we came into the building it didn’t go to well with the front desk they were rude and very unaccommodating I was about to cancel my reservation and decided to go ahead and wait for our room to be available. So this second time I came in I was greeted by MYRKA at the front desk she made everything better with her hospitality I was amazed and and very appreciative with her fast response, she made this trip memorable and because of MYRKA we will be returning to the Garden Hotel

Family Summer Trip to San Deigo #1 During check in when I arrived, Lydia checked me in and she first told me she was going to just charge the $100 deposit. So as I go to swipe I notice shes charging me for the entire room. I repeated to her that I had already prepaid for the room in full and she still processed the transaction. AFTER my card was charged, he argued with me saying I did not pay. So I looked through my photos on my phone and I showed her my receipt showing it was paid in full. She told me she canceled the transaction which she did in front of me and told me my money should still be available. I check my bank account and I'm missing about 1500 from my account because I seen the transaction. I HAD NO ACCESS TO MY 1500 I HAD BROUGHT FOR THE TRIP. SO THAT RUINED THE TRIP FOR MY FAMILY AND I BECAUSE WE HAD TO MAKE THE LITTLE MONEY WE HAD WORK FOR THE NEXT 3 DAYS WHICH INCLUDED SEA WORLD, SAN DIEGO ZOO, & SESAME STREET. I RECEIVED THE MONEY BACK MONDAY THAT I WAS ALREADY BACK HOME. #2 The tv did not work at all. I called the front desk the 2nd night and they sent a man to fix thr tv. He ended up not being able to fix the tv, so my kids couldn't watch their cartoons or I couldn't watch the news. The tv was not working the entire stay there. #3 During the day, the a/c was blowing cool so it made the room hot to get ready in. At night the a/c was really cold. #4 our night back to the hotel from SeaWorld, there was a homeless man asleep infront of the black gate to entire the hotel premises. He was also blocking the key scanner. I had to wait a while for your security to move the man out the way. #5 The first day I arrived the King bed had a big dip in the mattress so the left side of the bed was slanted all those nights. It was very uncomfortable. With all these problems listed, it was a horrible experience for my family and I. The only positive thing I can say, is the housekeeping is very friendly and do a great job at cleaning the room. Every night we came back to a clean room, fresh towels and a clean bed.

BED BUG ALERT Reserved for 3 nights of my stay. Had dozens of bed bug bites all over my body. The rooms were in terrible condition as well with really bad odor. Not at all worth $200 per night. Hotel had terrible service as well. I requested medical fees but they are not reply to my emails and not returning my calls. Seems like this hotel management does a one-time business with customers. Never going to use Wyndham hotels again.

Open the pool asap. Its hot outside!! Clean and updated rooms. Would be nice to have a working pool in the Summer. Hotel staff should be aware of an approximate completion date in case a guest wants to return in the near future. Definitely will be back, but not until the pool gets opened.
