Wonder Stay! Wonderful staff! Great value! I have stayed here 2 times in the last week! Once to go to the Sydney Goldstein Theater, on a Saturday night. WE walked to and back to this hotel, Yes! This address is on Polk Street and they have homeless people on the streets. We walked passed the City Hall and they have homeless people in that area also. It is a way of life in this city! The managers of this hotel have a gem of a hotel here. They are friendly and very nice people. This is a great value and the rooms are modern AND very clean! Beds are very comfortable. It is located 1 block from Van Ness and they have homeless people there also! But business goes on and people support those businesses. I'm sad that some people have had some negative things happened to them on their stay here. The pictures on this site are very accurate.

Thieving Scumbags These dirty scumbags robbed me of $180... refusing to give a refund despite me having to cancel the booking with plenty of warning. This is a shameful way to do business and I honestly can't comprehend how they think this is acceptable behaviour. The manager is willing to cheat innocent customers out of whatever they can. I'm utterly disgusted!

Wont go again Terrifier. Please dont go to this hotel. Its full of homeless around, and some of them I saw consuming drugs, pissing on the street, and I did not feel safe inside the 3 days I stayed. Also, the second day we went for breakfast, and nobody was reception at 8 15.

Do not go there !!! I arrived in the hotel and there were prostitutes verbally assaulting a client inside the parking of the hotel, and homeless people checking the trunk of other guests’ car!!! Travelling alone I couldn’t feel safe enough to stay. The woman at the front office was really unpleasant and didn’t accommodate to refund the amount I had paid, even though I was on the line with Expedia ! Expedia sent an email to the hotel manager to get the refund and no answer!!! Very bad location, very bad customer service. DO NOT GO THERE !!! By the way, I’ve been charged a deposit of $150 while I didn’t approve it and I didn’t even check in the hotel! So I want a refund of this + what I had paid for the room before cancelling because of the neighborhood and mécréants showing up inside the hotel ! Or I will call the SF police.

Extreme Harassment from Hotel Front Desk Clerk On 7/16/2022, I checked in Alexis Park Inn with my online reservation. The intend was to use the hotel room to hold a social meeting for few hours. I checked out the hotel around 3:00am on 7/17/2022 and took photos to show the room was orderly. At the time of checked in, the front desk collected full payment using my credit card. Afterward, the front desk noticed the meeting attendees entered to room. She came to the room started to harass everyone. She said that hotel does not allow visitors to enter the room, regardless how long. I pointed out to her that such policy was never listed on the hotel website, nor was communicated with me when I checked in. The front desk clerk continued to harass, and said, "I have your credit card number, I can charge you anything I want". As the result, she charged my credit card with additional 2 charges, which I did not authorized. No one should ever experience such harassment.
