Great property Great location and excellent staff. Very thoughtful staff at check in and throughout stay. Loved the neighborhood and everything you need in walking distance. Loved access to walking/hiking/biking routes. The property is a bit dated but was fine for us as we were almost there.

Excellent Location My three children (14, 17, 20) and I stayed here for three nights last week for our first trip to San Francisco. The location was ideal, within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf and other areas. We parked our car when we arrived and left it in the garage next door to the hotel for our entire stay. The hotel is not fancy, but it was very clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They offered coffee and danish for breakfast in the lobby, as well as some grab-and-go items in the small store right near the front desk. There is not an onsite restaurant, but there were plenty of food options very near the hotel, including a liquor store directly off the main lobby that also had snacks/chips, etc. The room was spacious and comfortable. The view wasn't great (we looked out onto another building, but the In-and-Out Burger restaurant is right next door to the hotel and my kids enjoyed seeing their big sign from our room). Water pressure in the shower was great, and the staff was very accommodating when we asked for extra shampoo, conditioner, soap and towels every day. We chose to have our room cleaned each day (you have the option when you check in due to COVID concerns, but we were grateful to come back to our room each night all spruced up). From the hotel we walked to Fisherman's Wharf, the Alcatraz Cruise terminal, the Aquarium, several restaurants, a Starbucks, Lombard Street, a small "beach" for a quick dip and beautiful sunsets, and plenty of shopping. Before we arrived in SF, I read news articles about cars being broken into near the hotel. We did see some glass on the street near the hotel, and a few cars with broken windows a few blocks away, but I would say that overall the area felt safe. Common sense rules apply - don't leave valuables in your car, be aware of your surroundings, walk in lighted well-traveled areas, etc. The front door of the hotel locks at night so you can't get in without a room key which felt safe. Overall, this isn't a luxury hotel, so if that's what you're looking for, you might want to look at another option. But overall we were very satisfied with this hotel and would stay here again.

Oasis in a city of happy chaos! Perfectly located hotel. Access to all the wonderful chaos, but tucked away just enough to give you a break! Our king room was spotless. Front desk staff was friendly, informative and professional. We would most definitely stay here again!

Location Location Location! My sister and I stayed at the Courtyard the weekend of April 10th to celebrate her birthday. First, kudos to Joe Rozo, the concierge at the front desk who checked us in. Joe was friendly and professional and answered all our questions. This hotel is fantastic on many levels but the main reason is the location! Literally across the street from Fisherman's Wharf and all it has to offer. Just a block from Pier 39, which is always fun. The rooms are very spacious, the beds comfortable, and the wi-fi is super fast and free. Also, for those driving in like us, parking is only $25.00 per night, a real bargain in San Francisco. Will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
