Fantastic Stay with a Few Minor Hiccups We recently stayed at the Kimpton Alton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel in San Francisco and had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw away from Fisherman's Wharf and within walking distance to the restaurants in North Beach. The modern vibe and newly renovated interiors add a fresh and inviting feel to the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary coffee and tea available in the morning, which was a lovely touch. Additionally, the happy hour from 5-6 pm each day in the lobby, offering complimentary beer and wine, was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The rooms are modern, featuring turntables and records, which added a unique and enjoyable element to our stay. Housekeeping was excellent, ensuring that everything was spotless and well-maintained. However, there are a couple of areas where the hotel could improve. The bathroom lacked a make-up mirror, which would have been convenient. Additionally, the toilet was quite loud, which was a bit disruptive. Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Kimpton Alton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel for its location, amenities, and overall ambiance.

Great stay and fantastic location I had a great stay here with my family while on vacation this past week. We stayed three nights and had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic, we did the bundle with valet and saved ton on parking around town. Just use the clipper card and city trans to get anywhere you need. Hotel had a nice manager reception each night, retro record players in each room. Everything was clean, staff was polite and professional, beds are comfy! Great job! Love the Kimpton family
