Many pluses for this hotel, but you get nickeled and dimed with add on charges. The hotel is in a great location for sure. The rooms are big and parking is easy. The staff are also helpful, but they haven't been empowered to make decisions on their own.. So, why only a 3 bubble rating? Several key points: * It appears an accounting focused revenue manager is making all the decisions, not one who thinks of the customer first. I say this with some experience as I was a hotelier in my early career and a professor of hospitality management in my later years, even taught revenue management. Some examples, 1) an add on "amenity fee" that really isn't addressed on the website in terms of the amount, except for the final details once you've booked. This means the advertised rate is really not as low as you think, and 2) an outrageous $25 a night fee for use of a mini-fridge, which the front desk staff can't negotiate. I think you could be one within week or so of rentals and the rest is pure profit. I would have done it for $5 a night. * No luggage carts for taking your luggage up to the rooms. Inexcusable in drive market type hotel like this. * Rooms were clean, but the head board had seen better days. It definitely needs replacing soon. So, would I stay here again on our next trip to SF? I'm 50/50.

Noisy and not very clean The worst night I have had in a hotel. Some TV was blaring all night long until before 5 am and then construction across the street at 7:30 am. Also no mini fridge as it looked like it had been taken out.

A clean place to stay I have stayed here many times this year during the pandemic, while I am working in San Francisco. Parking is great, the rooms are clean, and the neighborhood has great food and coffee. Any issue I have encountered has been dealt with quickly and easily.

Highly recommend Relaxing, chic and perfect location. Carrie at the front desk went above and beyond for our 10 year anniversary. Highly recommend staying here. The living room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfy. We felt right at home.

Cheerful hotel with some nice environmental touches Pros: A happy hotel with hammocks outside & bright walls inside. The showers included wall mounts of soap, shampoo, and conditioner, eliminating plastic waste. The hotel was within walking distance to so many places. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Con: Breakfast was disappointing. The pastries looked like supermarket pastries wrapped in plastic. Also, no soap for the sink. Putting a wall mount here would really, really help.
