Convenient place to stay in SF I will start by saying Ricardo G. working the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly, from helping us price match our hotel rate, checking us in, and generally being a pleasant representative of the hotel to greet us throughout our three night stay. Generally, Hotel G was a good value for what we paid considering the close proximity to Union Square and the relatively cheaper parking rates (for San Francisco standards) available in the Westin garage essentially next door via arrangement with Hotel G. This is a boutique hotel in an refurbished older building with slightly creaky wood floors, but I think if you don’t set your expectations too high thinking this is a luxury five star hotel, it’s a decent home base for exploring San Francisco. Minor complaints: The hotel lobby is pretty tiny, the air conditioner seemed to go off and on repeatedly every few minutes, and the basic room with two double beds we stayed in was a bit on the small side.

First Visit Hotel G is a great value for it's location, accomodations and staff. Also, the espresso in the room was very good too!!

Review Hotel G Excellent location. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was very clean. One negative point is that you can hear noise from people passing by in the corridor.

Great place to stay No doubt the best experience at a hotel we had over the course of a week long vacation and 7 different hotel stays.
