Don’t book the “North Point Street View” My stay was disappointing to say the least. I’m glad I did not stay longer than 2 nights. If I had my way it would’ve been no nights. The website and app are deceiving when it describes paying more for a room with a “North Point Street View” and has a picture of a lovely view. I purchased it as an upgrade via the email Hyatt sent to me prior to checking in. I only purchased the upgrade because it specifically said a corner room with the view. I even specified in the comment section- if not a corner room then I don’t want the upgrade. Needless to say, I did not get a corner room, I got a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the street, front entrance, and holiday inn. I’m a discoverist level Hyatt member.. and did not get the daily water nor was I told I would be given access to the Premium WiFi. The staff were underwhelming welcoming. My POV of their customer service “there just there to do a job and collect a paycheck” nothing above and beyond- just there. One positive is the location, it’s walking distance to fisherman’s wharf and ghardelli plaza area. I’ve stayed at several Hyatts and I will not be staying at this one again.

disabled Vietnam Veteran The rooms that I am offered through the online reservation system are always a secret until I arrive. If the room number is listed I would have no reference as to the placement in relation to the elevator. Additionally, the cost of valet parking is at least $72 dollar per day and if I would have wanted a late checkout on my last day it would have cost $40 a day for each day of my stay.

Unexplained Charge on Credit Card /Extremely Hard to Contact Customer Service Wouldn’t stay here. I had recently left a good review, but not again. With an unexplained $275 charge on my credit card statement (apart from my invoice for my room) and no receipt for $275, I would not stay here again. I have tried numerous times through phone calls to the front desk, accounting department, email, and chat service and still can get no explanation for this charge. Extremely frustrated and disappointed with no response from the hotel. Very poor customer service.

Clean Hotel near Fisherman's Wharf Full service hotel. Front desk staff super helpful with Check-in/Out. Parked with Valet....walked, biked, bused around town. Rooms clean and staff helpful throughout stay. Breakfast at hotel restaurant was of good quality. Allow for extra time for food service. Would stay at hotel again.

Great Location My room was great and the hotel is located in a great location of walking to Fisherman's Wharf. I was also able to easily walk to Lombard Street. It was a great end to a trip to Yosemite National Park.
