Beautiful San Francisco Stay Perfect location for seeing beautiful SF. The views from our suite were spectacular, our room attendant, Xue, checked in regularly to be sure we had everything we wanted, and the room was so comfortable! We were able to walk or take a quick taxi to everything we wanted to do. Loved this beautiful classic hotel! Super friendly helpful staff (oh and be sure to visit the flower shop on the lobby level!).

Unworthy stay! I am an accor plus platinum member and felt that the service of this hotel is awfull. Since the arrival until my check out. I have arrived early to get an early check in but the reception said that the early check-in started from 11 am. And I came back to the reception at 11 am and inform that the room was not ready. Finally, i got the key at 1 pm. During check out, i was surprised that my booking is in term of Bed & Breakfast package, but since my arrival, nobody inform about this not even inform about the place for breakfast. Another annoying thing is on my bill, there is an internet charge which i've informed that the wifi (internet) is free. After complain directly to guest service (because i've sent an email about this but no response), the hotel remove the charge.

Average for price I booked this hotel for my family of 4 and paid extra upon checking in for a suite. The service was great but the room was average for the price. No water bottles in room, no fridge or coffee maker, the curtain was torn etc. I’ve stayed at other Fairmonts that were way nicer!

The ultimate in luxury! This hotel is the ultimate luxe hotel. Be prepared to be “wowed” by the stately elegance of the lobby. Rooms are huge & well appointed. The bathroom is large & gorgeous. The restaurant was good, however the breakfast menu was very limited. Erin was amazing & ultra attentive. The Tonga room was great fun for cocktails &/or dinner. All in all, this hotel is totally fabulous!

Best in San Francisco. Amazing hotel! The service is top notch and they met every request. Breakfast was a highlight every day for our family. The history of the hotel and roof garden was spectacular. We will definitely be back on our next trip! Thanks AMEX for the recommendation.
