San Juan Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino

Great option for budget but open front with all the amenities Nice decor, good beach area, close to many thing! Pool was good, great swim up bar, although no adults only pool. Casino offers free drinks and some FREE snack food items while playing. We did a priceline special to include the breakfast. Go for ocean veiw!

Girls Trip We came here for a quick destress getaway and didn’t realize it was a spring break week. My friends and I like to hangout and have fun but the crowd was a bit unruly. At check-in we had to have a temperature and then wait in a very long line. That was not a problem but the way some of the ladies were dressed (thong bikinis, barely there tops) made many people uncomfortable especially those with children. Once checked in we had to wait about an hour in a half to get our room keys. The rooms were clean and there was no issue with getting extra towels when needed. The hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants, so you can easily walk around to find good eats. Old San Juan is about 15-20 minutes away but because we came during a busy time the wait for and Uber and the sudden declaration of a citywide curfew dampened our plans. The hotel really didn’t make any accommodations for guest who were basically stuck at the hotel after 10 pm. The in hotel casino even closed early that evening. I would consider giving this hotel a try during another time of year. I hope that they were just overwhelmed by the crowd and that the areas that needed improvement would be better.

FAMILY REUNION 2021 Please Note: My review is of the property as a whole. We visited The San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino was nothingless than perfect. From the time we arrived the Property and the Landscaping was amazing and all the Interior designs such as the Casino, Lobby Bar were awesome. Theres much to eat and see especially poolside, the swim-up bar was a very nice addition; which is only a few steps away from the Beach. The staff complimented the property very well Carlos, Chris, Gabriella, Andres, Leo and so many others made our Family Reunion "Grade A" !! So Impressed by just the Property that we will definitely be booking again in the near future.

Take the chance you should not be disappointed! The resort is AMAZING We had the BEST time San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino location from the first day to the last day! The hospitality was superb each time. We were always greeted with a smile and all the staff were courteous each time. To be honest prior to my husband and I booking we were hesitant because the mix in reviews, but we decided to take the chance and book it. I’m SO happy we decided to book this trip. We were only there for 3 days for our first solo trip and celebrating our 10 year anniversary and boy did we make the best of it!! The resorts premises were always clean. The beaches were clean and plenty of staff and security to attend to your needs if you had any. We had no issue in getting umbrellas out at the beach or chairs. They remove chairs at 6pm and Umbrellas at 5pm however you still can stay on beach following that. We had no issues in requesting extra towels. We asked housekeeping and was given with no issues. We chose to not get room cleaned during our stay so I’m unsure if this was any issues with others. There were sanitizing stations everywhere even in elevators. The premise was beautiful!! Room was nice, we had the ocean front but also were able to see city view in other side of our room which was perfect! There is literally a CVS and Walgreens within walking distance ( right around corner of hotel) plenty of great dining restaurants on the strip: concierge was really good and helping plan days of excursions if you wanted to. Breakfast for 2 at hotel runs about $50 for buffet with a view or you can find other places around. Inside buffet area was clean where you can get everything from fresh omelets , pastries and more. We also tried Pennes restaurant where it’s more of a diner feel and a lot cheaper. It wasn’t bad, depends on what your looking for. Casino area is perfect size for hotel size. During our stay one night slot machines had issue but they quickly resolved and things did not escalated. On our last night my husband was able to make plans at Gingambo restaurant! It was perfect!! Private sunset Dinner for 2 on patio right near the beach along with a 3 course meal, dessert and Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut Champagne. Our server Emily was AMAZING!! So personable and she has actually been our server our entire stay when we would dine at Gingambo and was always kind and always open to answer questions and share history of understanding some of the authentic cuisine in Puerto Rico. Thank you Emily and the manager on duty Christian!! I can go on and on to be honest . Give it a try you should not be not satisfied . Thankful tourism has stayed consistent for staff to remain employed because it truly was such a great stay and the view was everything!

Pool staff saved my trip There were extreme highs and lows on the stay. Lows all front desk related. Super slow and not engaged at all. Phone in room never worked. Ice machine never worked. Toilet ran for 4 days. Great staff that I have to mention. They were all amazing. Totally engaged and service oriented every step of the way. Isabel our housekeeper. The rest are all from the pool bar restaurant area. Christian. Yamilette. Garbriella and Rita. Excellent
