Good value We prebooked but were very late arriving but it was no hassle despite them not having 24hr check in. They contacted us in advance to arrange things. The room was clean and well set up and while there wasnt' A/C the fan provided good air circulation so had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was self help and plenty of it. The only issue we had was finding it as access is off a side street but this meant traffic noise wasnt an issue. Good value.

Avoid - even when the surround hotel double the cost of this one I always stay in budget hotels/ motels around the world and believe me , Hillsdale’s Inn is the worst ever ! Hillsdale’s inn was a nightmare. My father booked 3 nights without looking at reviews. We ended up fleeing to one of the surrounding hotel after staying one night. 1.no air-con ( if you ask they may give you a fan ) 2.rude and unreasonable staff when we told the manager that we need to leave because of the lack of air con and other unacceptable situations, the manager Drendia Garcia talked over me to make sure that I feel that it’s my fault to not have read the “papers” - three of us and other travellers who ever booked this hotel from Expedia can confirm the that there were no paper works or any other wordings on the Expedia site ever tells anybody that there is no air-conditioning! 3.dirty carpets 4.broken insect screen 5.broken hook in bathroom 6.feeling unsafe , feeling that someone may break the car ! When we arrived, there were another lodger screaming at us telling us that our car is stepping on the white line - the white lines were faded and hard to see . This man kept talking , telling us that “ I don’t want your car to be broken, you have a nice car” 7.blocked sink Conclusion : filthy, hot, unsafe , better to sleep in your car if you don’t have another choice, rude staff and unprofessional manager that you don’t want to get yourself into encountering.

Desperately in need of a re-fresh Executive Summary: This hotel is desperately in need of a refresh.... and that's putting it kindly. Pros: Large room Secure Wifi Friendly staff Free oatmeal (instant) for breakfast.... Cons: Property is run down. Paper thin walls and ceiling. No air conditioning. A fan and a space heater are provided. Flow rate from shower is a trickle. Shower does not maintain a constant temperature. Cleaner used in bathroom is heavily perfumed. Impossible to get the smell out of the room during a three day stay. Recommendation: Not recommended.

Ok, best price in the area stayed here with the family since we had family living in the area. Wanted to be close to them. Other hotels in the area were at least $150 more. All we needed was a place to sleep and shower. This place did that. Building was old. Looked like families lived in some of the rooms. Yet, room was clean.. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Room had microwave, fridge and updated tv. Probably not a place for families with young kids to be in or at least not have them running around. It can get noisy, especially in 1 of the back rooms facing freeway. Staff was friendly. All in all ok place just to sleep and shower. Probably not one you would want if you plan to spend a lot of time in the room.

Noy for the rich and famous The room was clean and had tv, internet, and microwave. I guess there are out of state electricians who stay here on a semi-permanent basis. The staff was friendly and helpful There is also a bar with a pool table, shuffle board and dart board. The bartender, Yvette, was amazing. All in all I had a great time. It was well worth the price.
