Beautiful BUT... It's a beautiful hotel BUT... the rooms need major refurbishing, specifically the bathrooms. The room overall was comfortable but the shower was old. WIFI was strong. TV was all spanish which is expected. The bar and restaurant were good. It's a bit far from the city center but the taxi price is cheap so no issue. I really wanna love this hotel but as I said, the rooms need some love.

No hot water 2 of 4 days and nights. Room 222. So I was willing to give this hotel a chance even though it’s kind of dirty and dated. However, I was there for four nights and for two of the nights and days I had absolutely no hot water. When I complained to the front desk, they said that someone had checked and it was working. The hot water never did work so I’m not quite sure what happened. I also sent them an email and I never received a response. I won’t stay here again. Also no manager on duty and no one to address problems. The pool is nice and so is the staff.

GO ELSEWHERE Did not enjoy our two nights here. Filthy room, uncomfortable bed, no 3/4 of oilers didn’t work and rude service. The bathroom had sewer gases coming up and stunk to high heaven. NO HOT water for a shower, like warm. Dinner and breakfast buffet were horrible. Greasy fatty and everything tasted like it was cooked 3 days ago. Didn’t ask for change of room because we were exhausted from traveling. Had to keep the bathroom door shut because of the stench. GO ELSEWHERE

Management GHOSTED our emails and simple requests I booked on booking.com and accidentally booked the wrong dates. I asked what to do and they said contact booking.com. Booking.com sent us back to Real. We contacted Real de Mina and they said we can change the dates. Well they never responded with a confirmation. I called back and got transferred to many people who were no help. We got there in person, and the two men at the front desk were no help. They gave us an email to a Carlos Peña to email him. Turns out, I sent him an email a week ago asking for confirmation. These guys needs to get it together. Horrible Service!

Not a hotel to recommend This hotel was very disappointing and I would never recommend anyone to stay here. The windows were filthy. G chair was ratty and old. The bathroom needed painting. The fan in the bathroom was very very loud. The water pressure in the sink was very low and I couldn’t even wash, something in the sink. The water in the shower never got hot or even warm. The swimming pool was dirty even though they did try to clean it. There are no steps or ladder to get into the swimming pool. the breakfast was minimal, and fruit was scarce. If you’re a vegetarian, I recommend you bring your own food. I have very little nice to say about it. For an upscale town like this, this hotel is very disappointing
