A reservation coordinator who truly cares The San Ramon Marriott hotel has always accommodated our large group reservations with grace and kindness, but this year, reservation coordinator Felicie Soliman went above and beyond to meet our room needs and make our experience truly extraordinary. Ms. Soliman's efforts made a huge difference to my peace of mind, and I feel very lucky to have been able to work with her on this trip.

Exceptional Service I stayed at San Ramon Marriott often for work trips. The location is convenient and walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. The staff was pleasant and attentive to its guests. Especially Felicie S always reaching out and make sure that the guests feel like home. Yes I do call this place Home away from home.

Terrible Marriott Ambassador Stay Where do I begin... This has been my "goto" business hotel but standards are trending very unfavorably. My last stay was mired in cleanliness issues and poor service, but it was only a point in time and everyone deserves a second chance. Fast forward to this stay, and it's worse than the previous stay. Specifically, 1) Poor overall Marriott Ambassador service and treatment. If you travel for work, you know the expectations and this visit was a complete whiff. Snarky front desk chat responses coupled with no answer at the front desk after repeated calls for items that should be in a hotel room. 2) Cleanliness issues again - Previous guest pubic hair strewn throughout the shower and bathroom. I never say anything if it's less than 5, but not sure what happened in this bathroom, but hair everywhere. 3) No shower hot water in the morning. Did I mention the front desk doesn't pick up the phone? They didn't respond in the app either. Decided to wash my hair with cold water in the sink basin as options were minimal. There are a myriad of other issues that I experienced but I'll try to be succinct. I would recommend avoiding this property until the aging plumbing and AC systems get updated and guest service returns to a semblance of "normal."

Business stay I stayed here for a work trip. The location is convenient and walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. The area is very quiet and nice hotel. It's great for both business or leisure. The staff was pleasant and attentive to its guests.

Great service from Felicie S. in a handsome renovation within a magnificient forest like surrounding. Whenever I visit my parents in Walnut Creek, I always stay at the beautifully renovated San Ramon Marriott. Not only are the rooms fresh, clean, airy, the hotel is magnificently surrounded by amazing tall redwood trees. When staying in a room, you look out and feel like you are surround by trees in a tree house, a fun and unique experience. The service is the best I have ever experienced in my over 40 years of worldwide travel. Felicie S. has provided me OUTSTANDING service for years - always responsive when I have to make changes to my reservation and very helpful planning special events. I wish all Marriott hotels and all BONVOY chains had such a friendly, professional, and helpful manager. A jewel in the BONVOY company!
