Outstanding hotel and staff!!! It's nice when the front desk staff remembers you from a stay a couple of weeks prior. The hotel/rooms are great and the furnishings are beautiful. The staff is outstanding. The breakfast was wonderful. We've stayed here a few times before and these are the reasons we keep returning!

Marriott Sandy UT Needed a hotel for one night and found a convenient location in Sandy Utah. The hotel is right off I-15, close to a mall, restaurants and a Costco. The hotel was quiet and very clean. We had a two bedroom with a kitchen which worked out great!

THANK YOU, JESSICA AND ALEX...!!! We never stay anywhere else but here as we twice a year cross the country from WA to FL – and it’s because absolutely everything is A+++. There are 2 fitness rooms, one with free weights… there are 2 laundry rooms… windows are screened and open for a breeze… the Grab ‘n Go Breakfast includes waffles you make, little milk cartons, yogurts, string cheese, bagels, protein bars, bananas, tangerines and best of all, serve-yourself coffee in the lobby at the start of breakfast at 7 a.m. Staff is amazing, thanks to the leadership of GM Jennifer. Special thanks to Jessica who even though the hotel was sold-out the night before our arrival made sure a room was ready for us at our scheduled time. Alex gets another big thank you for delivering – with a wonderful smile – a welcome note from GM Jennifer. We’ve been here a million times over the years and will return for millions more. You should, too!

WE CALL THIS HOTEL "HOME" ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR-- YEAR AFTER YEAR...!!! We have lost track of how many repeat visits this is for us – since we travel from WA to FL and back every year. But we never miss a chance to enjoy all that GM Jennifer and her amazing staff have to offer (Sandra, Amber, Robert and everyone else). Even with the virus woes, the 7 a.m. Breakfast still includes self-serve coffee, make-your-own waffles with chocolate or caramel sauce, hard-boiled eggs, yogurts, milk cartons, bagels, tangerines, bananas, string cheese, protein bars and muffins. A laundry room in each of the 2 buildings ($1.50 wash/$1.00 dry), fitness room in both buildings (a scale in lobby fitness room but no free weights, those are only in upstairs adjacent building fitness room). There is also an indoor pool/Jacuzzi with loads of towels. Business center works to perfection. Windows open for a breeze and there are incredible views out your windows at this hotel in paradise, where every staffer has your comfort in mind. Thank you again (and again), GM Jennifer – who absolutely must be the Marriott General Manager of the Year!

Usual Residence Inn All residence inns are very similar and this one was as expected. In these strange travel times cleanliness of the room has become more important then ever and our suite seemed spotless. We wiped down all the surfaces again and there was not a spot of dust. Friendliness has gone out the door in favor of efficiency and check in was quick and efficient. All the guests we encountered in the corridors etc wore masks. You can easily access room with stairs. Breakfast is a dismal affair with a paper bag of an energy bar cereal yoghurt. Fortunately you have your kitchen so if you wanted a better breakfast you could make it yourself. The very poor breakfast compared to the pre Covid days is the only reason I have taken off a star. I know we are all concerned about infection but other hotel chains are doing better. Let me decide what is high risk.
