Excellent Great a/c, great TV, fantastic bed and pillows_ The filtered water with a beautiful pitcher worked great. Nice little “lobbies” throughout the hotel. Very nice people work there. The main lobby is quiet and beautiful, with a nice chessboard there.

Very small rooms This was such an expensive hotel for what you get in return. The rooms are ridiculously small. I’m not kidding when I say there was no room to manoeuvre with 3 people. I pity anyone staying in the room with 4 people (what the room is designed for). The shower was a wet room design which does not work for a room that is as small as it was as water just gets everywhere. The receptionist was rude on check in, acting as if we were an inconvenience to him interrupting him watching YouTube. However, by far the most ridiculous thing is that there were no lifts meaning anyone not on the ground floor had to carry their suitcases up two flights of stairs. (Being a family travelling on a 3 week long vacation we had 3 70lbs+ bags). The only plus side to this hotel is that the Mexican restaurant attached to it was really good (however I don’t know if they are even related).

First time in Santa Barbara Small, modern hotel located in the heart of the waterfront area of Santa Barbara. Rooms are small but comfortable and nicely appointed. Staff is friendly and helpful. Many bright and airy common areas throughout the hotel offer places to rest and relax.

Nice place but poor management 1 am I'm woken by the sound of the lobby speakers turned up so loud that my bed is vibrating. I go down to the lobby and ask the night manager to turn down the speakers. He didn't have keys to the media closet. Apparently, they had been "fixed" that day, but nobody bothered to check what they sounded like on the other side of the ceiling. How can a night manager not have access to the media closet? A steep price for bad management of the facility.

Save your money!!! First, let me say that the parking is a joke. You have to park over a block away and cross railroad tracks. Secondly, the rooms are quite hot and you can’t control the thermostat in your room. You have to ask the front desk to adjust it for you. Also, the rooms are tiny and the staff are not friendly. Your best bet is to go anywhere else!
