Rooms are awful The rooms are run down and their upgrades are not really upgrades _ The place is not a 4 star, so don't be under the impression you are receiving a 4 star room at this property. It's completely old unfortunately and if you like to enjoy the room, view and beds - this is not a place for you!

FANTASTIC FACIAL Mikayla was a beautiful soul who provided for me a facial that at the end brought tears to my eyes. Her energy is so gentle and soothing, her touch so, so, gentle, and calming, her voice so sweet and kind, and the treatment itself was luxurious and relaxing! So grateful for her kind spirit. It felt healing :) THANK YOU!

Great venue and team! The staff at the Chaminade are super accommodating, thoughtful, and friendly. We hosted an event in their space and they responded in a timely manner, adjusted to our needs, were considerate of any changes, and helped us move furniture and rearrange things as needed. Bonus the location is beautiful and often has the best weather and sights in Santa Cruz! Definitely recommend and looking forward to working with them again.

Nice enough resort From a surface level the resort is nice. The restaurant area felt clean and newly updated. The room however was outdated, shower tub was worn out with a very low shower head. Bathroom had tiles falling off, carpet in the room was very worn out. Bedding was pretty basic. The hot tub is small and only one of the pools is open at this time. The nature trail around the property was surprisingly pretty scenic. The restaurant does not offer much to vegetarians, the veggie ravioli is a complete rip off - a plate with 5 ravioli and some fancy garnishing for $32 plus an automatic 4% fee applied to everything to account for cost of living.

One of the few nice pet-friendly stays in Santa Cruz. The grounds and amenities are nice, the customer service is great. I really appreciated the bowl of fruit in the room upon arrival and the appetizer voucher, I thought that was nice. I love that they are pet friendly, and one of the few nicer places to stay in Santa Cruz. Although it comes at a price. The view both the actual view and the restaurant are beautiful. Food was great tasting and service was 10/10. The price point was on the higher side, and I expected more from the room. It was kinda dark and dated. Also had a weird smell, even though it was a pet friendly room. The beds in our two- queen room were both pretty hard, and I had a rough time sleeping the first night, the second night I requested additional comforters to lay on, and the request was promptly fulfilled. I also stopped at the local target and purchased a foam mattress topper so I could make it through the night since I had to stay the second night as there are no refunds. I would come back if/when there are booking promos available and I am visiting santa cruz.
