So dreamy This hotel is top notch and worth the price. The location is prime and so convenient. We love the amenities. I did dock a point in sleep because the mattress was extremely soft and broken in and the pillows were subpar. However, the room and hotel were extremely clean and the staff all very friendly .

Uphill walk from Boardwalk While the hotel is nice, and being right on the ocean is cool it's quite a long uphill walk from the Boardwalk. The beach is very loud with activity until late at night 2:30 am. There are also a lot of kids there, which I wasn't expecting for an over $500.00 a night hotel. The parking fee is $30.00 to park across the street. Thought that to be very unfair. There is valet for $35.00. All and all I would not stay at the Dream Inn again for that price. There are closer hotels to the Boardwalk. We love the Carousel Inn, and that's where we will stay from now on.

Wonderful place to stay in Santa Cruz We had our family reunion at the Dream Inn and everyone loved the hotel and location. Every room faces the big, beautiful beach and ocean and has a balcony. Rooms have a cheerful decor and comfortable beds and amenities such as coffee maker and fridge. The hotel is within walking distance of the Santa Cruz Wharf and Boardwalk as well as the downtown area making it easy for everyone in our party to find something to do. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The Jack O'Neill Restaurant onsite has delicious food and wrap around windows with a lovely view of the ocean. We also enjoyed the heated swimming pool and bar and food at the pool area. We would highly recommend the Dream Inn. We will be coming back.

Good vibes Great hotel! Nice rooms and I love the modern retro vibes! The pool and hot tub are stellar and the poolside drinks and food is so nice to extend your pool time! Beautiful views from the room and steps from the beach and the legendary boardwalk! I absolutely recommend this hotel for a wonderful beach boardwalk stay!

Another Wonderful Dream Another awesome stay to unplug from reality if it’s just for a couple of days.The wife and I will never stay anywhere else while visiting Santa Cruz.
