Will stay again! Took a relaxing girls trip to NM, Santa Fe was one of our stops. El Rey’s staff is amazing, the rooms are cute and coffee was great. It was raining a lot while we were there, apparently it’s monsoon season, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool. I would definitely stay again. Bought a very soft sweater as a reminder of this cute spot.

Excellent experience! Love staying at the El Rey Court. It is truly a unique experience from the quality of the unique rooms, to the pool, and the property grounds. Would consider staying at the El Rey again. Everyone should experience the El Rey!

El "Yay" Booked on impulse because of the groovy photos and the fact it was not on the square (we like old town / square but it is SO busy in the summer). The room was clean and location was quiet; the vibe sealed our "we must come back here" plans. We enjoyed our patio and they were very dog friendly. Wish we had been able to spend an entire week there.

Terrible Was told 6 times, in person amd on phone by front desk staff that a roll bed for kid would be delivered, it never happened. Dark and dingy, Nothing like the pictures on the web!!! Old and grungy, not clean!

Location and charm The El Rey offers a unique experience with cozy rooms in a courtyard environment with lots of room to explore. Sitting areas abound for end of day reflection or connection with a friend. There is even an onsite bar and a fruit and flower vendor from Pilar. The El Rey has kept its charm over the years for a very reasonable price. It is also right next to the Pantry Restaurant, a local's favorite, and on the road that goes directly to the Plaza or intersecting with the main road heading north out of town.
