Would have been a 5 Star Review if they hadn't missed one very important thing. The hotel is beautiful and the room was large and included a balcony with a beautiful view and a fireplace. Beds were super comfy and we slept well. We only ate at the Iguana, dinner and breakfast. They were very understaffed, as it seems everywhere these days are, but the service was good and the food was good. Large casino with a lot of different games. I didn't see any table games, just slots. My one complaint - upon making my reservation, I made a note that I needed a feather free room due to severe allergies (I do this everywhere I stay except for Drury as they are feather free as a rule). Driving into Santa Fe I called to confirm room was feather free and was told by the desk clerk he would assign my room prior to arrival and assured me it would be feather free. Upon check in, I again asked about the room being feather free and the desk clerk said it was a note on my reservation and he assured me it was completed and the room was feather free. I asked if he was who I spoke to earlier and he said yes and "I made sure the room was feather free." Upon entering the room, I checked pillows and comforters. ALL FEATHER DOWN! I cannot believe this type of service. I could have ended up in the ER if I had not checked. We called downstairs and they apologized and said they would have housekeeping come right away to change out the bedding. We saw housekeeping a few doors down and she said she had just received the text and had not been notified before that. She was extremely apologetic and came immediately to exchange the bedding while we went downstairs. I would hope that such a nice hotel would be apt to cater to guest's needs. Other than that fiasco, I would definitely recommend. Just double check any specific requests.

Disappointing. Really enjoyed the hotel and the surroundings. Big pluses for keeping the room clean, lobby and grounds. Big minuses for lack of hotel staff, restaurants being closed due to staffing, but admired the ones that showed up and did a great job taking care of everyone (especially the staff at the Red Sage bar). We showed up on Saturday for 2 nights, the bartender at the pool bar didn’t show up for the weekend. Also Bellman does his best with what he has. Doubtful that we will return.

This place is deteriorating before our eyes. Ask the locals who play here. I was told by a reliable employee of the casino that at its peak there were 660 employees and now there are 300. The understaffing is palpable throughout the facility. The sports bar closed at 5 pm on July 4. The boars head sandwich shop was closed that day. The Starbucks was essentially closed. People are paying resort prices and discovering that much of the resort's amenities are understaffed and/or closed. Loyal reward gamblers at the property have seen their comps reach a new low. This is apparently as a result of declining revenues. The Biden stimulus checks dried up and so did the crowds at this resort. Now, those rewards players left are being nickel and dimed by the casino manager Bailey, and finding that suites are no longer an option, dining certainly has deteriorated and the resort experience is collapsing. The servers complain that the management treats them poorly. I want to add that it also treats its players poorly now with inadequate comps. Players need to go to the competitors who provide better gaming comps and hotel guests should go to a resort that is adequately staffed. There are many other options in Santa Fe alone.

Upsetting that your technology is not up to date with the current century we live in. They were not able to provide my Hilton Honors points because they didn't have the correct name on my reservations receipt that was emailed. However, we were required to show ID when we check in and our name was on the reservation. I called the hotel directly and they said they can't make changes since we already checked out. We are living in the 21st century with technology! Don't email check out statements if you can't make changes the day after check out.

Girls Trio The rooms were very spacious and parking was ample. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub and stopped in the casino for a bit. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, but no water station anywhere. We had a room with a balcony and when it rained, which it did every day, the water sat on the balcony and’s did not drain off . We didn’t use the balcony for that reason unfortunately! This property was nice, however I would recommend staying in Santa Fe if you will be in town a lot.
