Disappointing experience!! There is a pleasant ambiance and perfect bedrooms. The service is friendly but totally inefficient! The front desk is not well-trained! If you want any extra service, that’s basically impossible! Breakfast is only by order; quality-wise, it is not good enough for international standards.

Almost Lived Up to Expectations I had high expectations for our visit to Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi. After all, it was part of Rosewood Hotels, the highly regarded international group of ultra-luxurious and distinguished hotels, including peerless properties such as The Carlyle in New York and Hotel Crillon in Paris. Overall, our experience at the Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi was exemplary, with only a few minor but disappointing flaws. But there was a lot to like! We were very pleased with the service. Staff members were all friendly and responded quickly and appropriately to all of our requests For example, kudos to Roosevelt, the front office manager. He went above and beyond to find us a larger, upgraded room. My wife recently had a surgical procedure and having extra space made a big difference. The Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi is relatively small (only 57 rooms), but it has warmth and intimacy often lacking in larger hotels. The restaurant and two living/sitting rooms off the lobby create a casual, relaxed atmosphere, providing a comfortable respite from a hectic day of sightseeing or shopping (in the morning, delicious croissants, coffee, etc.are served). The public spaces are all curated with a wonderful collection of art and artifacts that perfectly reflect New Mexico's distinctive native American culture and heritage. Keeping with this theme, our room also exuded coziness rather than over-the-top luxury. It was tastefully furnished and decorated with interesting design accents sprinkled throughout. However, the room somehow did not feel particularly spacious. The chairs, couch and assorted lamps and tables took up much of the usable living space. Interestingly, the couch and lounge chairs were on the compact side making them less comfortable than we were have liked Bathrooms are well outfitted with double sinks, marble vanity tops, Dyson hair dryer, etc. However, with the exception of an oversized glass enclosed shower, we found the bathroom to be extremely narrow and cramped. Unquestionably, Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi is the premium lodging choice for anyone who wants to be in the center of Santa Fe's action (it's only a short block from the Plaza). The only other five star, high end properties in Santa Fe are The Four Seasons and Bishop's Lodge. Both are located far from the center of town. Both are beautiful, sprawling properties that offer a total resort experience, much different from the urban-centric Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi. Compared to the Inn at the Anasazi, The Four Seasons and Bishop's Lodge surely offer more spacious and luxurious accommodations, more amenities and more of everything. Their rates are also considerably higher--perhaps double what the Rosewood charges. Did the Rosewood meet my high expectations? Almost. I understand that this property has limitations due to it's small size and footprint. However, it is Rosewood Hotel, and I suspect that a guest's experience at most of their other properties would reach a higher level. That being said, this hotel is in Santa Fe, a very unique and special place. Unlike many other Rosewood locations, there is little or no five star competition. So, if you seek a hotel with some nice touches of luxury and to be coddled that is in the center of Santa Fe, the Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi is your best choice. And, it's pretty darned good!

Exemplary Customer Service. The Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi is a downtown Santa Fe adobe hotel just a block from the Plaza. It is a gorgeous place with rich decor and the location is hard to beat with easy access to museums, historic sites, restaurants and shopping. I relished my 'Suite with Balcony' accommodations equipped with gaslit kiva fireplace, handcrafted furniture, hardwood floors and viga beams. Excellent meals are served in the Anasazi Restaurant and Bar, with a kitchen that incorporates indigenous methods & ingredients into the menu like: Bison Tenderloin, Rack of Lamb, Pork belly Fettuccini and more. My appetite was crushed with a trio of Spanish Octopus, Pan Seared Scallops and Creme Brulee............culinary items that shined. So , if you are inspired by the artistic craftmanship of local Santa Fe Native America tribes.............then try the .........................Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi....................... ......exemplary customer service.

Large dinner parties - confirm your reservation! I had a very disappointing interaction with the restaurant at the hotel. I had called to make a reservation for a large party of adults (12). The reservation was for a later hour, and I informed the hostess that we would only be having drinks and dessert. She was very nice about asking several follow on questions to support the reservation. Several days later, I received an odd email saying they were sorry I would no longer be coming. I called the restaurant to inquire if there had been a computer glitch, and I was informed that a manager had canceled my reservation. I received no call, update, explanation, or apology. I cannot express the level of frustration I felt. Imagine if I had not called to follow up on the email, and we had shown up for a canceled reservation. I was so disappointed after many hours of research and multiple calls to even make the reservation in the first place. I emailed the hotel and the food and beverage department following the cancellation and received no follow up. If you are planning on making a reservation for a large party, call to confirm before you arrive!

Awesome!! This place is an excellent location and value. They were sooo nice! Everyone! Literally the best customer service experience we have had in a long time. Recommendations on food, happily helping with bags, fast and friendly valet. Only steps from the plaza and we will certainly be back. Always love it when you feel like you got what you paid for. Thanks all!
