The fireplace in the room is a highlight We have stayed here several times. It is our go to in Santa Fe if we want to stay near the plaza. It is convenient to everything downtown, and the parking is free. We had a king room with a fireplace. They will light the fire for you, if you aren't comfortable doing that like us. The room had two comfortable chairs which was great for watching the fire. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows and linens. We were at the end of the hall and heard nothing outside our room--so quiet. I would definitely stay here again, but if you need an updated bathroom, then this is not the place for you. Also, we didn't like the vibe in the breakfast area and ate elsewhere several mornings.

Fantastic hotel Wonderful accomodatins, fantastic location but the best part is the staff. Each person we emcpuntered worked so hard to make our stay wonderful…and they succeeded. So friendly, so accomodating every step of the way. It is my second time to stay here ans most definetly not my last.

Delightful short business trip to Santa Fe staying at The Inn of the Governors In the first week of December 2024 I had a three night business trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico and stayed at the Inn of the Governors which I enjoyed greatly. The hotel is warm, welcoming and has everything I need, free parking, a sizeable room, comfortable beds, a great restaurant attached and friendly staff. The room was generously sized, the bed comfortable, i had a balcony, the restaurant attached, Del Charro is authentic New Mexican and wonderful for food, service and prices. Located close to central Santa Fe I couldn't have picked a better place.

Recommend Highly! Quaint, well maintained hotel with a bar restaurant on site. Clean and quiet! It's close to the Plaza and other downtown attractions. Check out the plaza lights at Christmas! They are beautiful! The $15 daily food/drink credit at Del Charro (their restaurant) is on top of their complementary breakfast. FYI: their classic margaritas are perfect blend of sweet n sour! And there is a happy hour type gathering in the lobby most evenings. Inn of Presidents is Santa Fe hospitality at its finest!

Wonderful Stay at Inn of the Governors We are extremely happy with our choice to stay at Inn of the Governors. The location is within walking distance to many sights and points of interest. The rooms were very clean, the beds were perfectly comfortable, the staff was attentive, the food was delicious and we loved the afternoon tea and sherry hour with biscochitos. The lobby area is quite cozy with a fireplace and lots of comfortable seating plus a chess table and board games are available. The rooms have a 5 cup coffee pot with a coffee bar, a hair dryer, toiletries, alarm clocks, bath robes, and a safe. The only negative I could mention is there aren't microwaves in the rooms.
