Beautiful hotel property and rooms with excellent service Our stay at the Inn on the Alameda was fantastic! This hotel has a beautiful property with gorgeous landscaping. I was in a double queen room with a balcony. The room and bathroom was spotless. Very nice decor. I didn't really feel like the balcony was necessary since it was overlooking the parking lot and I probably wouldn't have sat on it anyway. The Inn has a large patio adjacent to the restaurant/bar (Tequila Joe's) for eating. We had dinner there and it was very good. Their breakfast buffet is awesome with lots of choices including very fresh pastries. The ladies manning the breakfast buffet were super nice, friendly and attentive. The hotel is conveniently located and about a 6-8 minute walk to the plaza area for sightseeing and shopping. They have a shuttle but we did not use it. The only downside was no elevator in the buildings that house some of the standard rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Place to Stay in Santa Fe The Inn on the Alameda is a 72-room property but feels like a small, family-run B&B. A main reason is the Inn’s charming, helpful staff. We’d barely been there a day before everyone seemed to recognize us, showed an interest in what we were doing in Santa Fe, and were willing to share their perspectives on the city and the area. The Inn is ideally located — only a block from the start of Canyon Road and four to six blocks to the Plaza, depending on which route you take. In addition, the hotel has a free shuttle that will take you to and pick you up from any place within a mile radius. The two acres the Inn occupies are beautifully landscaped. We stayed in a casita at the far eastern end of the property, and the route to our room was a brick pathway lined with aspen and plum trees and punctuated with wooden barrel planters filled with geraniums and alyssum. The Inn’s buffet-style breakfast can be eaten either inside or outside on an attractive, tree-shaded patio.

Best Way to Celebrate Forty Years of Marriage Had a wonderful weekend celebrating our 40th anniversary in Northern New Mexico. Went for two hikes, ate great food, went to an animal sanctuary, and came across low riders in the Low Rider capital of the USA. My (car) Ruby met a blue beauty. We stopped by an awesome Native American shop, Nambe Trading Post, where we saw the costumes from Dark Winds and the Costner movie series, Horizon. I picked up some handmade jewelry, too. All while we stayed at a gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of Santa Fe. The staff, food (especially the free breakfast), shuttle around the plaza, and our room was amazing! Joe even stopped by to say hello and ensure we were well taken care of during our stay.

Great Weekend Stay! Great room and location. We were next to the breakfast room The food was better than any other place I have stayed. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was soft. We had a nice patio in front of our suite. Management was super friendly and helpful during our stay. I would stay here again.

Fantastic stay at Inn on the Alameda I just stayed at the Inn on the Alameda for the first time and had a fantastic stay. It is an attractive hotel – the rooms as well as the lobby. The staff was very attentive and friendly. From what I overheard from other guests, it seems people come back regularly, and the staff recognizes them. They have a restaurant and bar inside that has great food and drinks. They have an outdoor patio next to it that is very lovely, and I enjoyed eating out there. It is a half mile from the plaza, which is an easy walk. When I come back to Santa Fe, I will definitely stay there again.
