Bed Bugs hotel Had a horrible experience woke up at 3 AM to bed bugs!!!! Got moved down the hall but still didn’t feel comfortable. Still trying to get my refund back and also they charge resort fee even though there isn’t any amenities like pool or restaurant. Under new ownership and seems like they are letting this place sink.

Two Month Business Stay with Wife & Dog My review is a bit unique as the circumstances of our stay was unique. I hope whoever reads this finds it valuable! I went for what started as an 8-10 day business trip that wound up being two months. June and July of 2024. My room was paid for by the company I was working for so I can't speak to the price and value. What I can speak to is the quality of the staff that works at the Lodge! In the two months that my wife and I stayed we were treated exceptionally well by everyone. The front desk people (Alex, Ashley, Isabella and Isaiah) the cleaning staff (Linda and Sophia in particular!) and the maintenance people (Adam!) were all great to us. There are many more people working here that I didn't get to know by name but they were all consistently professional and friendly. The manager especially, Renaldo, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and more. Thank you all for making our stay more like home! I can also speak to the quality of the grounds. Potential is the best term that comes to mind. The pool is, and has been, a work in progress for a while. The views are amazing and the rooms are dated. The location is minutes away from downtown by car but it is a bit far to walk. However, there are wonderful running/hiking trails right from the parking lot that are amazing. Personally, I was very surprised to hear about people's cars being broken into as I felt very safe in the parking lot and felt that the distance from downtown was a positive factor in this. It is a dog friendly hotel and there are dogs there, including ours. We never had a problem with any of them but do recommend if you bring your dog to keep an eye out for coyotes that roam the area and the parking lots . And, of course, it's never a good idea to leave your dog alone in a hotel room. The laundry machines were very useful for us and always worked. There is a pretty big difference between the rooms and if it's within your budget I highly recommend staying in any of the 400 rooms, they are great! During the two months we were there the property was continually being improved with landscaping, maintenance and more. For us, it was a great stay and we hope to be back again!

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone First room we checked into had a horrible animal urine smell, so we went to change to a different room. The front desk people were very friendly and switched our room while stating that we would get a discounted rate for the inconvenience. However, that promise was never fulfilled. The next room we were assigned to had a similar urine smell, and then had a bunch of ants in the bathroom. So we asked to change to another room, in which had the same problem as the one before (smelly, ants + other bugs on the bed, furniture, and around sinks). At this point, we just settled with this room although we were very unhappy with it all. The smell was so unpleasant we went and bought air fresheners to spray the room. While walking around the property, we noticed several homeless people lurking around the parking lot, and one going through the courtyard rummaging around for cigarettes and trying to open up doors. At that point, I felt unsafe leaving my car parked in front of our room as it was away from the main entrance, so I moved my car to the front entry. With all things considered, we left as early as we could the next morning. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
