Fun, elegant and that old fashioned shush. This was such a special stay! Everyone took such wonderful care of me and my 6-year-old son. Room services was A+. Loved the design touches, and the easy access to the Santa Monica Beach and pier. Would love to come back and stay longer sometime for a big travel splurge!

Great location; poor/average food Great location and (mostly) friendly and attentive staff. Let down by really poor continental breakfast (I suggest you don't get the breakfast inclusive deal and save the money to spend elsewhere), and fairly average food otherwise - but there are plenty of other dining options close by.

Good location but becoming dated This was our secobdvatay at Georgian in Santa Monica (wife insisted qw stay at same place) It's still a good hotel with what is possibly the best location at Santa Monica - next to Santa Monica boulevard, 2 blocks from the pier, third street promenade and great eating options Issue is with the room - our current room 306 definitely seems dated - with visible pipes and carpets. Also don't know if this is issue due to proximity to the lift or isan issue throughout the hotel - the lifts make a low based hum and mechanical clicks if used in the night which are loud. My guess is that rooms finally floors ending with 06 and 08 should be avoided and please put in requests in advance to the hotel We were denied a room change when checking in saying that hotel was full (even though it definitely has rooms available based on density). Lifts are definitely old and take their time - we have walked up/down from third floor a couple of times Else still a good hotel woth decent service. Don't think we will come back to this property though and will choose a more modern property

“Marvelous_”! “The Georgian” is an art deco treasure that sparkles right on Santa Monica’s waterfront. Would recommend everyone not only tourists to visit because it’s a rare piece of Old Hollywood glamour in modern times. Incredible atmosphere with high level of professional staff, delicious food with unique presentation. Special Thanks to our amazing waitress Rene ___ for being superb!!!

Luxury with a Touch of Nostalgia. For the four of us, after a half-dozen Santa Monica vacations, the Georgian is our favorite. The hosts always attentive and friendly. As a first time, we weren’t wrestling with our two rooms’ temperature controls. Location couldn’t be better. The Georgian’s architecture inside and out, and its art deco/mid-century decor made me feel like a prilviage character in an F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, transported to a different era, romantically atmospheric with good wifi and USB outlets. We dined at the Sirena Restaurant for both dinner and brunch, and both meals were exceptional. On the lobby floor there's a small library and art exhibit. In the past we’ve stayed at Santa Monica’s Proper Hotel which is also excellent, but our Georgian stay was memorable, and a more intimate experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to combine luxury with a touch of nostalgia.
