Great for our family. Rooms are very clean and well stocked Great family location. Not as crowded as other areas. Love the beach and the beach staff. The guy who drove the golf cart to and from the beach was so friendly. Downside, lots of codes to remember. Directions from front desk is different than at security gate.

Elevator not working no assistance with luggage in the morning Rooms are comfortable Beach club is the attraction. Service is poor. There is limited desk staff available (10:00am -6:00pm). Elevator was not working and apparently will be out of commission for an extended period of time. There is no one available to help take luggage up or down the stairs when the desk is not staffed

Wonderful! Overall, we love the Watersound Inn and the Watersound beach club. We sleep great at the Inn and enjoy all the amenities being a guest at Watersound allows, especially since we are repeat guests. The Inn furniture is starting to need a refresh and the elevator was broken which made checking in and out difficult (and less safe given that anyone could get in if they knew where the door was). Overall, we still love the Watersound Beach club and would highly recommend it to any couples wanting a getaway.

Pretty space, disappointing experience Loved the location and the suite was perfect for 3-4 people. Elevator didn’t work the entire time we were there and no additional staff to help carry bags, or any kind of concession to the rate for the inconvenience of having to carry all of our bags/food/toys, up and down the stairs on arrival and departure. Daughter fell in the stairwell and chipped her tooth. Yes, accidents happen, but tired kids in flip flops having to go up and down concrete stairs, add to the odds of these types of accidents happening. Again, no warning or concessions, made that even harder to swallow. The condo itself was very nice. The staff at the inn, not so much. Remarkably unpleasant. Beach club is close by and the staff there are incredibly nice, which helped soften the experience. We usually stay in Watercolor, but I enjoyed the less hectic vibe at Watersound. If the inn can get a bit of customer service training, I think it could live up to, and probably exceed the expectations I had.

2nd time to visit, can't wait for the next one. overall experience if wonderful. beach club and reserved beach access is great for families. quieter than watercolor which we love but close to everything we want to do. the pullout beds could use some updating. but our kids never mind.
