Wedding Weekend Attended a wedding held on the property. All aspects were first class, from the outdoor ceremony venue to the reception & dinner.

Quiet retreat like atmosphere This place is very child friendly. Staff, especially at the restaurants, are exceptionally nice. They really focus on making children feel welcome. Located perfect distance from Sausalito, Muir Woods, and SF. The historic lodgings have a quiet, retreat-like feel and the grounds are incredibly scenic. Perfect place to go family or not if looking for a more peaceful stay near a very active area.

Well worth a visit We visited the Bay area to visit with family and decided to spend three nights at Cavallo Point. As others have said this large property is in a picturesque location. The proximity to Sausalito, the Presidio and the Bay Area discovery museum for the little ones was terrific. The rooms were spacious and furnished well. However, the primary reason for our rating was the level of service. Employees such as Shanae and Spencer at the front desk could not have been more welcoming and helpful. During breakfast one morning the server was extraordinarily helpful with the two and four year old grandchildren. When we had a malfunction in our room safe at 9pm they were there in five minutes. The food in the two restaurants was very good. Although pricey, we were pleased that we decided to stay here.

Amazing experience at Cavallo! We had a 1 day trip for work, and every aspect of it was perfect. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed. The room fit the needs of our work retreat, and was overlooking the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge, and the e-bike activity we did through Cavallo was an awesome experience! Dave and Laurie from Vacation Bike Rentals were amazing! They were fun, professional, and guided us through the Golden Gate Bridge safely, so we could just enjoy the ride!

A Hidden Gem We often visit San Francisco to see my family. We tried Cavallo Point for the first time. And we will be sure to come back. We loved to location. And the staff made us feel like family.
