Looks Can Be Deceiving I recently had the opportunity to stay at your hotel, and while the hotel appeared impressive in photos, my experience was far from satisfactory. As a guest with allergy concerns, I specifically booked one of your Wellness Rooms, expecting a space that would accommodate our needs. Unfortunately, I was disheartened to find that despite the room being advertised as allergy-friendly, it still contained carpet flooring, which is contrary to what was depicted in your images. I had understood the floors to be tile or laminate, which would have been more suitable for those with allergies. Additionally, the air purifier provided in the room did little to mitigate the noticeable amount of dust present on fixtures, which was not only unpleasant but concerning for someone with respiratory issues. The state of the bathroom was especially troubling. I was forced to use a tissue to touch the door handle and light switch, as the cleanliness was absolutely subpar. No guest should have to worry about touching unsanitary surfaces in a hotel room, especially in the bathroom. Moreover, the floor was so filthy that I would not dare let my bare feet come in contact with it. I do have photographic evidence of the conditions and would be happy to provide them upon request. I wanted to bring these concerns to your attention in the hope that future guests do not face the same issues. I trust that your team will take the necessary steps to improve the quality and cleanliness of your Wellness Rooms. I look forward to your response and hope to see some improvements made

Lovely stay This is a great hotel with a wonderful location on the river. It is easy to walk every where. We ate at the hotel and found the food very good. We used the valet parking which was expensive but very good. There is a fridge and safe in the room. The hotel has a beautiful lobby and place to sit and just look at the river.

Won’t be staying here again! The room was not clean. It was dusty and the front desk was not the most professional. We reported the situation to someone at the front desk but she recommended that we email our pictures to the management. And the food was not very good at all. It was bland. The parking was $50.

Lacking Waited to be checked in while a woman simply ignored us and didn’t even greet us. When we were finally helped, the guy mentioned something to her about not helping us and she gave an excuse and said she would take us, but the guy already started checking us in and upgraded our room for our wait. The halls were littered with trash throughout the visit…actually a piece of plastic bag that was in the hall when we checked in on Friday was still there Sunday when we checked out. We opted for valet…when it was time to check out, we texted the valet service to have our vehicle ready and received information to proceed to the P3 level to get our vehicle. Once getting there, it took them 5 minutes to tell us our vehicle wasn’t there and to retrieve it up front..so we had to lug all of our belongings back up the elevator and out the front door to find our vehicle. The carpet in the room was rolled up (as in several areas in the hallway) which I tripped over a few times. Stains on the bathroom walls and behind the toilet. For the price we paid, did not get the experience we were hoping for and will probably chose a different hotel for our next trip to Savannah.

I had high hopes… Upon arrival of our drive from Florida we were greeted to a lovely hotel lobby. Check in was good. Once we entered our room, that’s when things went south. I always wipe down the surfaces I know my kids are going to touch in any hotel. As I was wiping down surfaces I noticed a layer of dust on most of the surfaces. They sent someone up to dust the vents?? I’m not sure what that would have done being that I had already wiped down the surfaces. The border of the room had a white film of dust all around where the vacuum I guess doesn’t reach. This room either had t been occupied in a while, or just isn’t being maintained properly. Next, the bathroom was not up to par. The shelf underneath the sink had water stains with dust on them. On that same shelf were the towels—right next to the toilet! Mind you, this bathroom is TINY! I requested new towels immediately and every day after that. The walls next to the shower had stains on them. It was gross! Then the tv was not working, they sent someone up as well and that got fixed. The icing on the cake was that the fridge was not cooling. We really should’ve just left at that point and checked with into the Andaz or Thompson but we have three kids and had just driven from Florida. We were tired. On top of that, it was the day before Thanksgiving and we just wanted to settle down somewhere. We booked a four night stay, HEAVILY considered leaving the day after Thanksgiving or moving to another hotel. But instead we decided to at least visit the Market the next day since we had already made the trip and just made it a 3 night stay since we didn’t do much on Thanksgiving day. I’m sad we had to cut out vacation short because we did not feel comfortable in our hotel room. These rooms need major TLC and updating and maintenance. Honestly felt like I was staying at a motel.
