Good Times My wife pre-registered for a two day stay and everything went smoothly. She was checked in and had a room assignment before I found a parking spot. The room was larger than expected, beds were comfortable, and well obviously used in great shape. It was a long walk from the room to the water park/food. The staff there was pleasant and answered any question we had. I cannot say enough about the staff, they were great, and I know it's not an easy job. There were some extra charges, and the food was good but pricy. (which I assumed it would be) Water park was fun for the kids, plenty of things to do outside of the water park too. I saw security guards every day I was there, and they present mor often than not. Lines for the slides did not seem to be overly long. If I had to say anything negative about the trip, it would be the rude people that jump lines, felt entitled and didn't watch their kids. Over all it was a good stay, and I will go back when I can.

Great water park The rooms were adequate. Water park was great. Food poor except for the Fireside restaurant. Price of food except for fireside was a gotcha. They had a gall charging for parking, 20 dollars a night!!!!! We payed 44.00 dollars for cold 2 hamburgers and fries. The only value was Dunkin donuts.

It's very okay but needs a lot of improvement Have spent 4 or 5 weekends in past two years at GWL and service continues to decline. Rooms are usable but quite old and worse for wear. Waterpark can be a lot of fun but comes with its own challenges. They have piles of tubes stacked up out of service every morning and leave folks just standing around fighting for the few tubes that have been released (and if you can't get one, they don't require folks to take turns after rides so you get pretty stuck unable to get on the actual rides). Incredibly frustrating and mind boggling and staff seems unwilling to put more tubes into service until later in the day. Then they recently got rid of most of the tables around the waterpark so prepare to hold a pizza box on your lap while you eat the lunch that you bought from them. They also seem more and more short staffed each time and this extends to the coffee shop, ice cream spot, food spots, park rides...Food quality is okay. Buffet can be nice but service again super slow. Prepare to eat your whole meal before your drinks arrive. Have booked Kalahari instead for our next trip out to PA.

Great Wolf lodge ____ Took the Family for a week day (Thursday) MINI Vacation a one night stay at a reasonable_price still expensive _, just to drive up to Great Wolf lodge Resorts in Pennsylvania off route 80 about 2.40 minutes from Long Island, N.Y.( took us about 3.5 hours with traffic and all. The trip leaving the Rotten _ _Apple and going thru The Bronx_ was like driving thru Manhattan_ back to back traffic___, over the cross Bronx and passing thru the George Washington Bridge, once In NJ, everything was fine, GPS was Very good but seeing New Jersey and the smell was ______. Anyways the trip was a challenge since route 80 near Pennsylvania still was closed for about 2 miles due to the sink hole repairs, so exiting 34B.. reentering was about a 30 to 40 mnts delay_____ once back in the highway we finally made it to Pennsylvania Exit 298, Finally after reaching out destination, the place was swarming with families_______ from every north east corner north,________ its definitely a nice place for families _______, plenty of parking ( Valet parking available) and it was a FULL House, so we arrive at night time it was still busy, the main entrance impressive and that nice decor and huge fireplace, and nice stage, we check into our room which was very nice, on our way to our room the indoor walk was very interesting _, the place is massive and the rooms, our room was very very good plenty of towels___ and cosie beds, large TV, small fridge, and nice little setting of tables and chairs, we where place on the 7Th floor Mountain Lodge excellent view of the staff parking lot but you do see the mountains _____, and yes they do have elevators, The staff was excellent, courteous and very friendly_ also what was interesting they had stores like dunking donuts, Pizza and a restaurant, but mmmmmm very pricey_____, you just have to be smart about it and take one kid instead of four or five, or better yet sell your car___ it does hit your wallet pretty hard for the average families so do your home work and explore the area first. Well we walk around and in the morning we already had to check out at 11 and if you asked for late checkout it's another $80 buckaroos__, anyways we finally pack our things went to get breakfast at Dunkin donuts inside the lodge, the restaurant was to pricey $26 a person and 12 and change for kids under 12, it's like buffet, after breakfast we went to the water park, it was awesome, I couldn't believe 4 to 5 years old playing inside the water tubes it was great seeing families with toddlers and everyone respectfull, and having fun the indoor water park had a lot to see and explore with my family, we had a great time and yes you can bring your own towels, or you can get it at a lodge stand for free, they also have life jackets for the toddlers and youth, and you can bring your own food and drinks or buy it inside the water park. by the way for the adults they do served liquor _ __and they do have bars, as for the tikes they have dunking donuts, pizza, and even Ice cream & a candy shop also a huge arcade with lots of games_️__️ the cost__ mmmmmm we didn't really had that much time because we spent it in the indoor water park. So yes it's family friendly, yes it's over all expensive,Yes it has a water park and yes you will enjoy it, I would had definitely stayed for an extra day to really enjoy it more... but the weekend unfortunately its kind of breaking the bank..very ___pricey. The good things is that we really enjoyed it specially our toddler love it but was very tired from all that swimming _ __ tubing and just the excitement. and yes we might consider going again not to soon but in the near future._ Or maybe if we get a better deal_.

Too expensive! I have been to Great Wolf Lodge several times with my grandsons and not much different this trip. Our check-in took forever because there weren’t enough attendants to accommodate the crowd. When my grandson fell asleep in my queen bed, I laid down on his bottom bunk and had a restless night on a very hard bed. The mattress is little more than a thin piece of firm on aboard and it is very uncomfortable- The Lodge needs to upgrade their bunk bed mattresses because I feel sorry for the kids using them. Our stay at the resort was not cheap as all the food items are very expensive as are the activities outside the waterpark. We weee fortunate to have a discount but it was still pricey for 2 boys and I can’t imagine the cost for a large family. $12 for a plain burger, no fries? Doubt we’ll be back to this waterpark
