Roaches and Termites… I rented 3 nights with the jacuzzi in Room 111. The first night, I went to take a shower and found a roach _ waiting for me next to the shower drain. I grabbed a towel and killed it. (See attached pics). The following morning, I went to front desk to let them know and to show the same pics. The young guy had an IDGF attitude and kept going back and forth with me about it and stated; “We never had this issue before”. Yet, I’m looking at a review on google of pics and complaint of roaches also, so that was a lie. He told me they cannot refund me but he can move me to another room. I replied; “Roaches travel through vents and in walls, so if that’s in my shower, it’s everywhere in this place. So wherever you move me, the problem will still exists”. I spoke about compensation and he said he would have to talk to the manager about it, so he got up and went into another room with a closed door. He comes out and tell me they can refund me for one night. All in my head, I’m thinking why this so-called manager didnt have the decency to come out, apologize and talk to me, like all respectable businesses do? So, I called Capitol One, to let them know about the one night refund, Capitol One called the hotel to confirm and until this day, they have not sent the refund to Capitol One and it’s been two weeks. My second night, I seen termites as Robert from a previous review wrote on google.

We had a beautiful day at the pool and had amazing food at the Mexican place on the lot. And staff made us feel like fam Where do I start. it was amazing... for the price I can't complain. our rooms were beautiful pool stunning... kids had a blast!!! They have asked 4 times when are we going again. Room was cleaned every day. The beds omgoodness phenomenal. I haven't slept that good since iv had kids. Thank you. Micheal was amazing beyond kind and made anything I was worried about feel like it was nothing. Jessica was well wow... very helpful when it came to ideas for us to do as a family around the area. She was kind and full of energy. She works hard really hard. Like literally watching her was like watching 3 people. Any problem that arose she handled with poise and grace. Thank you everyone we are already planing our fall break vacation!!!

Fraud Charges Great vintage MCM property, we love the property. Great location, rooms were comfortable. BUT they have charged 302.49$ EXTRA dollars to my credit card. They can't figure out WHY it was charged. I called three separate dates to talk to management about AT LEAST getting an explanation. The manager can't be bothered to return calls or take calls. The gentleman took my info for the manager to call me the same day. Six days six calls, same answer the manager doesn't take business calls apparently. Is there a manager? The property couldn't even and still can't provide an itemized bill explaining charges, or even tell me what the extra charges are for. If you ask me this is a scheme they have going, unfortunately me and my fiancé loved the place and spend money when traveling. But this is a poorly ran business. Doing a credit card scheme. Priceline is doing a fraud case for the charges, it's been a month and still NO CALL from the management about the charges. As of today I have started a dispute through my credit card. So in closing, great place if you don't mind a place running credit card fraud and stealing from you.

Bed Bugs & Unprofessional Booked this hotel b/c the reviews seemed good, however you should look at the YELP reviews and there you will see all the roaches and bed bugs they have. I called to cancel and Emilia (the house keeper) was pretending to be a front desk rep and promised me she would give me a refund if I cancelled, she lied and denied my refund request. So I spoke with Michael the new manager who was so unprofessional and rude told me that “I can’t refund for an incident that never happened” .. keep in mind I am pregnant and allergic to BED BUGS! I do not want to risk my health or my unborn child’s health & if the incident happened it would be a lot worse than just canceling my reservation and issuing me my refund. Moral of the story, this place is dirty and the management is unprofessional.

i’ve stayed here 3 or 4 times. after my last visit i happened upon some reviews that painted a very different picture than what i’ve always experienced. rooms always spotless, furnishings would appear newish, other guests always respectful of others and employees are good at their jobs. front desk always efficient, never a wait and posses creative problem solving skills that sadly are long gone from many places i’ve stayed. if resort had a shaky past they have more than made up for it with its current incarnation. don’t believe the negative hype.
