Rude disrespectful staff; very subpar hotel Absolutely the worst hotel experience we have ever had. They do not make up your rooms unless you give them 24 hour notice which we were not told at check in that you need this done and when we called down to ask for more towels and toiletries were told by Abby very rudely to come and get them. When i went back down to get them after spending an exhausting day in 115 degrees moving our daughter down there she wouldnt give me a bag and i had to make two trips down to get coffee to which she only gave me two when i asked for four. She hung up on us when we called down the first time. Her co worker "called himself Mike" told us to go to another hotel if we were not happy with the service. They were both sitting around with nothing to do and would not accomodate a guest who needed supplies. It is also the first Best Western we have been to that does not include breakfast you must pay for it. There is absolutely nothing special about this hotel at all. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express two miles from here and recieved a much nicer room a delicious hot breakfast in the morning and for a cheaper rate at that. The manager was called and these two young people were reported for their disrespect but as they were quick to tell us "call whoever you want nothing will happen to us" so I doubt these two who should definitely not be in the hospitality industry will still be around this subpar hotel. Abby actually hung up on me when i called down to request the towels as we were trying to quickly shower and make it to dinner on time and when i went down to get the supplies i said we must have gotten disconnected and she said "no I hung up I have things to do" I was so taken aback by the rudeness of this girl and her cohort who began laughing at her statement. Honestly never came across such rude and disrespectful employees in all my many years of traveling the world.

Simply Amazing From the beauty of the hotel grounds, to the pool and the rooms, we were thoroughly impressed and satisfied. It's our favorite hotel in Arizona!

Gorgeous property, Best Western elevated! This property is absolutely beautiful & well maintained. Has all the amenities, including a small market, guest laundry & a restaurant/bar. Staff is amazing & I would definitely stay again.

30 Second Shower- No Compensation 3 things are expected when you stay in a Hotel… A bed, heat/AC and hot water to shower and wash with. Well, this hotel failed. Upon check-in, I was told that they have no hot water in the hotel at all, and that possibly it would be repaired in a few days. I pre-booked and Pre-paid for seven days. No one tried to call me ahead of time, ( they had my phone # BW member) even though the hot water had already been off for five days. There was NO COMPENSATION offered whatsoever, and I was told because it’s hot outside that the water would be warm. It doesn’t matter where you’re located, cold water is COLD water. I booked through a second party so I was not able to get a refund. I can’t tell you how uncomfortable taking a shower is in the freezing cold water. If I were camping, it would be expected. I went 3 days without washing my hair and didn’t go into the pool because I couldn’t wash my hair. It’s very long and it would take at least 15 minutes to shower & rinse… Not to mention shaving my legs in ice water. Ugh. 3 days later, the hot water still wasn’t turned on. Asking at the front desk, I was told they really didn’t know when the hot water would be repaired or turned on whatever the case may be. They said I couldn’t talk to the general manager. They gave me an email that came back as a blocked email after I wrote a whole letter. I went five days without hot water at this hotel. In the meantime I went to a spa that had a shower so that I could wash my hair and shave my legs. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. There were several things that were not operating and out of order at the hotel, the coffee maker, and also the massage bed in the gym. There was no disinfectant or paper towels to clean the equipment in the gym. It was disgusting. Dried sweat covering every surface. On a positive note, the room was clean and a very nice set up other than no place to hang a towel in the bathroom. I did not have my room cleaned for the entire 7 days because I didn’t want unclean sheets towels, etc. put in my room that were washed in cold water. On another note, I did not get the room that I paid for, A private patio. I feel sorry for the staff. Shame on you Samuel Grinder for your terrible management of this establishment! Vacation Fail

Not worth it The staff was not friendly and when we got locked out of our room we had to wait over an hour to get back in. The staff did nothing to improve our stay. My children were scared cause they didn't understand and ended up falling asleep on the couches in the dining area. The staff did not offer blankets, I had to ask. This location failed us.
