Last minute stay We stayed at Talking Stick last minute because our flight got cancelled. We strolled in at 430am where they checked my family and I right in. It was great because we were exhausted. The room was very clean, the bathroom was spacious and the shower was huge and awesome. We used the pool for a little while and sat in a lounge chair in one of the pools. There was music and lots of fun. We did not gamble but the casino was huge and lots of people. Would stay here again!

Terrible rules! The property is nice, rooms are comfortable and the staff do a nice job. What we find odd is that they charge 14.00 for drinks and they only pour you 1oz per drink. That's ridiculous. A standard industry pour is 1.5 Oz. They also have a stupid rule that if your sitting in the lounge area, you can't close your eyes while resting. A staff member came by and told my husband to stay awake with his eyes open. My husband was resting his eyes. He was not asleep. He dose off for a bit, but not completely asleep. He was not drinking, so we just wanted to rest a bit. I have never heard such a rule at any hotel ever. I doubt we will be staying here again.

Awesome time at Talking Stick. Awesome staycation in AZ. We celebrated an anniversary and my birthday. We had an awesome time. The casino is fun. Service is great. The room was very nice. Air conditioning is excellent. The shower was awesome. Had dinner at Orange Sky - beautiful up there. Next time I’ll sit at the bar I like that area.

An Oasis That Offers A Range Of Indulgent Amenities. Situated on an Native American reservation just northeast of Scottsdale, the Talking Stick Resort racks up a serious portfolio of amenities. Think Golf Course, think massive Spa, think expansive Casino, think pleasurable hotel with distinctly designed rooms and many restaurants & lounges. My room was spacious with the decor a mix of Southwestern & modernism. The latest tech features were all there as well as a great view of the surrounding desert. The Talking Stick has a whopping bevy of restaurants. The Orange Sky is the flagship eatery , an open air facility with views of the surrounding mountains. The muscle of the menu consists of dishes like: Beef Short Rib Osso Buco, King Salmon, Beef Tenderloin, American Red Deer Boneless Loin to mention a few. I selected the Spanish Octopus, Rib-Eye Steak & Creme Brulee for my sweet tooth........all quite satisfying. The spa at the Stick is a 13000 sq ft facility featuring private treatment rooms with floor-to-ceiling mountain view windows, serenity lounge, steam rooms, whirlpool, fitness area and 2 resort pools. Services include facials, peels, massages, body therapies and the like. I choose the Desert Stone Massage for my pampering pleasure.......very pampering. So, if you are seeking a serene escape or an entertainment filled getaway.............. ........then try the ..........Talking Stick Resort.........an oasis that offers a range of indulgent amenities.

Won’t come back here ! Great hotel and casino…BUT….the people running it are SUB par. Not professionals. Was a hassle from check in until we checked out 2 days later. Because we booked through a 3 rd party and were upgraded ; we were told we had to change rooms….so we pack up and wait till 11 am ….oh…now we don’t have to change…kinda kills a days plans ! Went down hill from there. We were planning on staying a week…but that is why we book only a couple days first…will stay with the two BIG chains. They are professionals.
