Did not meet expectations Very nice hotel with comfortable bed and large room, and a good hot breakfast; however customer service and minor maintenance/housekeeping left MUCH to be desired - hopefully it was just my bad luck. The location is very convenient close to CSULB and Seal Beach Pier area which has great local shops and restaurants

Great hotel! beds were very comfortable, room was spacious, bathroom was very clean, nice shower pressure. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This location is conveniently located to restaurants and the freeway. They have a nice breakfast and courtyard. I would definitely stay there again!

Friendly service Hotel employees are super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I am no good with names so I can recognize those employees that went above and beyond their line of duty. Good breakfast a lot of options.pool and fitness room was very clean and well equipped.

Lovely hotel with high comfort and service standards Stayed for two nights in Seal Beach, CA, and it was one of the best hotels I've been to. Beautiful, big rooms, extremely comfortable bed and fluffy big pillows, highly friendly service. Breakfast could have a bit more variety for my taste, but what they had was very delicious. We will definitely come again!!

Great Place to Stay for Business Travel Personally, I have not stayed at the Ayres Hotel in Seal Beach, as I live in the area; however, I regularly reserve rooms for coworkers on business travel from other states, and coworkers needing sleep after a long night shift. In the six years I've been using the Ayres as my go-to hotel, I've yet to receive even one complaint from a coworker after his/her stay. The sales staff and front desk staff have always been very friendly and accommodating, and recent guests from my company raved about their rooms and the breakfast they enjoyed at the hotel prior to coming into work each day of their visit. These positive experiences are why I will continue using the Ayres Hotel in Seal Beach. They make my job so much easier!
