One of the worst places I’ve ever been to Hated this horrible hotel. People who liked it here must have drove because the area looks like skid row in LA. By the way, I live in LA. Walking and taking transit was not fun at all. This area was disgusting. You could see there used to be decent shops and cafes around but they all died out. The hotel itself is adequate I suppose. It was clean and spacious. I appreciated the microwave. It was very useful. Besides the area. What I really detested about this establishment is the guy who I had to deal with in checking in and out. He didn't have much customer service skills and was full on arguing with me when I checked out. He was absolutely refusing to answer my question about the deposit for incidentals. He kept pointing at my receipt like I'm a dummy and told me over and over what the total is.

Great Stay! Getting into the hotel, you need to ring the bell or use your room key. After getting inside, tbe lobby is small and functional. The staff are great and attentive. In the elevator, you need to use your room key to get to your floor. The room was great. The room had an excellent bathroom and was sorely needed after the trip on the Coast Starlight. The shower I took felt great. There was no water issues at all. They provided soap shampoo and conditioner. The room has blackout curtains, get this they actually worked. The bed was comfortable. The desk space was ample for working with a laptop. The closet was small but functional. The only disappointment was that the room was not freshened or cleaned on my 2 night stay. Fir the price I paid, there should have been a cleaning service .

Convenient Stayed here one night. If you take the light rail from SEA TAC and get off at Pioneer Square it is about a block and a half walk to the hotel. The interior off the hotel and rooms are very nice, but the rooms are small, but nicely done. The flat screen TV is huge. Our room overlooked a building with the water behind it. There is a restaurant and the bar tender is very nice and makes good drinks. Unfortunately many of the nearby restaurants have closed but there are still a few good ones open. The area around the hotel is a little run down. It is about a half mile walk to Pikes Place Market and Lumen Stadium and the sports complex is nearby. I would stay here again

So-so service and attentiveness The positive was that the room had a mini frig (ready to use) and microwave and coffee maker. A pretty big plus for a week stay. The room was clean and we paid extra for a bay view, worth it even with the cargo dock. Beautiful sunset over the water. The downside is that front desk was initially helpful, but quickly turned to less willing to answer some questions and be helpful to us in the unfamiliar city. Maybe he had a bad day (Raul). They didn't inform us that daily room service was at request only, so by day three we knew to call the front desk and ask for room service the night before. At check-in we were not given a lay of the land of the hotel so we had to research on own and figure out how to get Wi-fi on our own. For the money we paid, an informative run down of the amenities and ins and outs of the hotel would have been nice at check-in. Ran into another family in the elevator that didn't know to use their room key to get to their floor, so obviously they were not notified at check-in either. I just happened to be a seasoned traveler and knew. Hotel has nice history, but the staffing needs to be a little more tourist friendly.

Nice Hotel but in Undesirable Area Let me begin by saying we used points for the weekend to attend a wedding in Seattle. We had two rooms for us and the not-so-young kids. The front desk was very accomodating and we were next to each other. We had no real view and the room was standard-sized. We noted that the hotel and rooms were clean and the bathroom amenities were above average. The only negative was the location in the very dirty and dodgy Pioneer Square with its many homeless in tents and various other undesirable activities. The wedding was lovely, but make sure you're tucked back into your hotel room before dark.
