Stay somewhere else! Way more worried about decorations than anything else. Way over priced for what you received. Staff was unwilling to help with even basic questions, no response from valet, room unclean and bathroom so tiny only one person at a time. Stay somewhere else!

Not impressed Quite disappointing experience…again! The carpet in my room was very dirty and instead of offering me another room, they asked if it would be ok to vacuum the carpet while I am staying in my room…?? The website states that rooms have coffee makers…they don’t! When I stayed here in July 2024, I was really looking forward to taking a hot shower after going on a hike earlier that day…the water was COLD! It took about 15 min for the water to be lukewarm where i could actually rinse off and not freeze… The hotel has valet parking only, which is inconvenient if you have to come and go though out the day… I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Historic Hotel in the heart of U District. Fun classic hotel in the U District just blocks from UW campus. Rooms were cozy with eclectic, themed decor tied to UW and the Museum of Pop Culture. My rooms bathroom was small but functional for an older property. Everything was well maintained and most importantly, clean. The bed was comfortable too. The Graduate just joined the Hilton family of brands, so they were transitioning all the services but there was minimal disruption to my stay. Fantastic rooftop bar called the Mountaineer Club. Good bar, intimate starting areas and great views. Couple of things to note. No self parking, if you have a car, you have to valet and it’s limited so let the hotel know you need the services. The set up to get up to the MC in the roof is a bit screwy. An attendant in the lobby has to pass the elevator to the roof, so you can’t go up directly from your room. Minor inconvenience and likely to control access. This will be my go to place to stay while coming visit anything close to UW.

Avoid the Coffee Shop Great firm bed and view of the city. Hopefully, now that it is a Hilton property, they will improve the bathroom toiletries and add in room coffee makers. Or offer complimentary coffee in the lobby in the early morning hours. We had terrible service at the attached coffee shop during our 3 night stay and it didn’t open on our last day until after we had to leave for an early morning flight. Disappointing in the city of coffee. And the neighborhood is too sketchy to go walking around to look for coffee

Best views from the top The food was great and the bartenders were quick to recommend exciting drinks for us when we didn’t know what to try. They also made us drinks off the menu!
