For $900 a night, daily housekeeping is not optional! One of the nights of my stay cost $900. I'll repeat...$900. For a fairly standard hotel room (albeit on a high floor). The other two nights of ~$450 and $550. So, still not cheap. So I was stunned that for a $900 hotel room long after the pandemic is over, daily housekeeping is not standard and has to be requested--which no one tells you when you check in (an experience shared by many, it seems). The second day of my stay, I learned my lesson and I requested it when I left in the morning. I get back to the hotel after a long day and my room was not touched--despite my having been gone for 9 hours. I called the front desk to ask what happened and what can be done. I'm told I will be called back. 20 minutes go by and nothing. I call again and am again told I will get a call back. I give up and start to leave my room to figure this out in person and housekeeping then arrives at my door (GREAT BUT CALL ME AND TELL ME!!!). I'm annoyed because I just wanted to be in my pajamas in my $900 room, but whatever. I ask how long it will take, he says about 15 minutes. I give it a half hour. I come back to a made bed (although he couldn't be bothered to replace the throw pillows) and some fresh towels slapped down and that's it. Didn't refill the coffee, didn't take or replace the used glasses, didn't put the iron/ironing board away, didn't replace makeup washcloth. Again, they were charging $900 a night. For that price, daily housekeeping is an expectation, not a extra.

Non-existent Service We arrived early off of a cruise and we all (6 of us staying in 3 rooms) knew that we wouldn't be able to check in that early but figured we should at least see about storing our bags. I was greeted at the front desk by one of the two working staff members. I asked the young lady if we could check in early and she informed me that she wasn't logged into the computer so I would have to wait for her colleague to finish what he was doing. 2 computers, 2 employees and only 1 can help? From there I was informed by the young man that I would receive a text when the room was ready. We stored our bags and went out to explore. At 2pm we stopped back to make sure that we couldn't get in early and the gentleman who had helped early said, "oh, you didn't get a text? Your room has been ready for a few hours." The 2nd night we were there I asked the night manager about daily housekeeping and he said that we should have been told when we checked in that we had to request it. Well, that didn't happen. The hotel was fine and the location was great but the service is totally missing except for the super nice manager who recognized that we probably weren't informed about the housekeeping and was able to get us towels.

Time for some "refreshment" upgrades. All of the front desk personnel were professional, pleasant & eager to help. Lobby appearance is welcoming, but it is time to refresh some of the furniture, as well as the elevator interiors (photos attached). Our room furniture also showed its age with chips, dings & stains, but overall housekeeping was good. However, we had to request daily room attention each day of our stay since it was NOT automatically scheduled. Were told coffee was available in the Lobby daily, but it was either empty or no cups available any of our 3 day stay. Definitely not impressed with the Lobby restaurant & ate elsewhere after 1 try. Good location for exploring Downtown Seattle, Unfortunately, Seattle is still dealing with serious Downtown homelessness & VERY open & extensive drug use, with little obvious police presence. Lots of closed & defaced Downtown businesses, with groups openly doing drugs on the street, especially as you come closer to Seattle's #1 tourist spot of Pike Street Market.

Terrible experience I have never left a review before but had such a terrible experience I felt like others should know. After multiple calls with the hotel around bringing in a rollaway in which they were confused, left us on hold and never came back, etc we arrived and were told we had been "upgraded"/moved to a 1 bedroom suite which was actually the room we reserved to stay with my kids and husband. When we went to the room it was so full of marijuana smoke it was uninhabitable. When we went back down, we were told there were no more rooms at the hotel or at the sister hotel, leaving us at 10:30 pm at night with nowhere to stay. Despite my emails following this event, no one has contacted us, made any apologies or done anything in response to the situation. Clearly poorly run and managed, and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you have any other options, do not stay here.

Overall great hotel and fantastic location! The front desk and all the staff in general were wonderful! We loved the location as it's only a few blocks from Pike's and a short Uber ride to anywhere you need to go in Seattle. Free coffee and free happy hour were definite pluses and don't forget to say the secret summer phrase to get a free spin on the wheel (look it up)! The only reason for the 4 star is the rooms were outdated and the beds were not that great - they moved us to a different room but the beds were all about the same. They apologized and said they are going to have a big remodel soon so hopefully it will improve. Pro tip - take the ferry ride to Bainbridge Island - it's right down the street and is 30 minutes of beautiful Seattle views then go to Bloedel Reserve - the most beautiful garden I have ever been in my life! Finally, get a trial membership at Mind, Body, Hum Yoga just a few blocks away, the BEST yoga studio I have ever practiced in. The hotel lets you borrow yoga mats for the length of your stay.
