Taken to the cleaners by IHG! Disappointment/Anger (Deception). Room-small—-no casual chair—- just a desk one. Employees at Front Desk very courteous and willing to “help” but severely lacking in basic knowledge for first time travelers to Seattle—-such as pros/cons on walking, taxi cab or UBER options to destinations such as the Pike Street Market. Space Needle , Chihly Garden and Glass, Seattle Tour Bus Origin Point, King Street Amtrak Train Station etc. The “Deception” charge began with a May 2024 reservation form from hotel confirming our reservation for a three day stay delineating all expected room charges to be $891. total (minus horrendous daily state occupancy tax/local fees including a one liner “Additional Charges.”—for $86.79 that I failed to ask about at the time). One of the principal reasons selecting this hotel was previous experiences ( excellent) with Kimpton Hotels when they were a separate company prior to being acquired by a large conglomerate (IHG) with obvious layers of bureaucracy (and costs) including the practice of tacking on daily room ‘ junk fee’ charges—-in the case of the Palladian calling them ‘ Guest Amenity Fees’ and in this case just under $30.00–a day—. Outrageous and simply BS.—-allegedly to cover a visit to Exercise Room (never taken); Free Coffee in Lobby, and some kind of Wine Tasting (never partaken). Local manager refused to take off these bogus ( “ Amenity”) charges amounting to just under $100 total. This is called “gouging” the customer. Never again and hope future guests will read this review and not be taken in by these unscrupulous practices.

Perfect stay! _ We were very impressed with the hotel. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious, and the staff is lovely and very helpful. The food at Tulio is excellent; every dish we ordered was delicious. The place is packed every day, both in the morning and evening. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Seattle.

Experience in Kimpton Hotel Vintage Another highly recommended hotel in Seattle. We stayed in room 1101, and the bed was comfortable and soft. The hotel is not far from Pike Place Market, just an 11-minute walk away. It’s also close to the Seattle Public Library. What impressed me the most was the Italian restaurant, Tulio. They serve many delicious dishes that I loved and want to go back for, such as Burrata, Tagliatelle, and Lamb Shank. Ben (Thailand)

Kimpton Vintage Seattle - Great for wine lovers Chose the hotel based on reviews and locations to a few key areas in Seattle. We only stayed one night as we had a cruise booked the next day. You can walk to several locations from here, but ride sharing helped when we were too tired for the hills. The room was nice and the front desk was fun to talk to and checked us in quickly. The valet was helpful also in arranging a car to take us to pier 91 the next morning for our Princess cruise. The restaurant in the same building was ok - I'll try to review that separately. We missed the free beer and wine tasting as we were out seeking dinner at that time. Oh well! The only negative I can say is that my partner was sick the next morning and went downstairs asking the front desk for anything that would help her feel better. Carbonized drinks or medication...or even an banana. She was told briskly that they didn't have anything by who ever was behind the desk at that time. I went down later to walk across the street and see if a small grocery store was open yet (it was not), and asked the same question. A different person was there and she was extremely helpful. Not only did they have a soda, they had Benadryl and even tonic water... that is exactly what she needed. All of this was right in view behind the desk. My partner was too out of it and didn't see it. Also, a nice touch is that every room is named after a winery from the state. Loved the cork artwork on the wall in the room too.

Excellent accommodations This was our first visit to Seattle. I found that Kimpton would meet needs. It was close to all the sites we wanted to see, some within walking distance, some not so close, but within driving distance. The staff was great, especially the valet. Rooms were clean with plenty of towels abd complimentary products. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Seattle
