Swanky and cozy. An overall flawless experience. After a great stay at the Regency, I spent the final two nights of my trip at the nearby Hyatt at Olive 8. From arrival to check-out, the experience was flawless. The location is an easy ride on the light-rail and just a few blocks walk from the station. I was welcomed up arrival and my status was noted. I was offered late check-out and daily housekeeping, but declined both since it was just a short two-night stay. The lobby is swanky and the staff were extremely friendly. The room I was given, a king room on the top floor, was absolutely gorgeous and spotlessly clean. In spite of the relatively modest size, there was ample desk space, a comfortable sitting area with a table, a bench, a cabinet with other amenities and an oversized bathroom. The room was incredibly functional for work and relaxation and had an overall cozy feel to it including the black-out blinds. The bed was extremely cozy with crisp bedding, fluffy pillows and a padded vinyl headboard facing a large TV. There were plenty of accessible outlets for charging devices, a robe and slippers, and even a sound machine for sleeping. The reusable metal water bottles and filling stations are also a great feature. My experience at the restaurant and bar were outstanding and reviewed separately. I thought the prices were reasonable with friendly and efficient service. For large conferences, my preference is often to stay 'near' rather than 'at' the conference venue, and I would absolutely consider a stay here the next time I'm in the area. The Hyatt at Olive 8 is exactly the kind of experience I look for in a city hotel.

Perfect Awesome hotel perfectly located near the convention centre. We loved everything about our stay. Staff was friendly, room very clean and we really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and saunas. The resto serves ok food and there is a bagel shop in the lobby. I highly recommend.

Walking distance to the convention center I came to this hotel for a conference in December. The hotel was walking distance to the convention center and close to very good eateries. Although the hotel is next to a busy street, it was quiet and the room I was in even had a white noise machine in the event that I needed to use it. The front desk staff was wonderful and so nice during all of my interactions with them. I used the gym and found it very handy when I saw that there were headphones available for you. Also, all of the equipment was working, which is a huge plus. No complaints here as the room was comfortable, clean, and quiet!

Friendly, helpful staff...amazing stay before our Alaskan cruise! Our family booked two rooms at the Hyatt at Olive 8 "boutique hotel" for three nights before our Alaskan cruise, and for one night post-cruise before flying back to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Our daughter, son-in-law and their two toddlers booked one room. My husband and I booked another room. Both our rooms were impeccably clean. We appreciated the fresh robes & slippers, a well stocked with a Kuerig coffee and tea machine with supplies, and high end toiletries in spacious bathrooms.
