pay 5 star resort rates for the priviledge of staying in a 2 star motel Its a motel. A $400/night motel with a view of the parking lot. Rooms are old and is extreme need of an update from the circa 70s/80s decore. The rooms and carpet smell like your nana's room at the nursing home. Ok, I get it. the Beetles stayed here a 1000 years ago. Big deal. People want nice views, nice rooms, excellent restaurant (closed in July 2021 due to Covid?), an excellent lounge / bar (also closed). Many good options. Choose another place.

Outstanding Stay We enjoyed every single minute of our stay at The Edgewater. The views of both Seattle and the waterfront are wonderful. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and simply elegant. My wife and I spent at least an hour just sitting and watching the seabirds and the ferries go by as the sun set out our window. We will definitely be coming back on future trips to Seattle.

Exceeded Expectations Since we had never been to Seattle, we were unsure what to expect. The Edgewater exceeded our expectations. Very clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the lobby lounge and the restaurant. The staff was very helpful with all of "tourist" questions. We booked a room with a balcony over the water and I would do it all over again. The views were awesome and the night views even more incredible. We were able to walk where ever we needed: Aquarium, Pike Place Market, eateries downtown, etc...

GREAT, but bring your wallet TOP NOTCH EXPERIENCE, though $52 one-night parking fee (plus tips) and 19% sales tax kind of wipes out the value aspect. But great place, nice stay. Super view, sweet balcony, well-kept; cool lobby to sit for a drink.

Best location in Seattle Can’t be beat views, incredible restaurant, friendly service & perfect location. Easy walk to sculpture park, pikes place & other highlights along the water. We were visiting family, but this would be an ideal location for pre or post cruise travel.
