Beware of $30/day extra fee Beware: they charge $30 per day extra for “amenities” whether or not you use them. They make is sound like a perk but they are just making their base rate look $30 cheaper when you have to pay it anyway. Comfy and nice hotel. Coffee SUCKS! It looks clean on the surface but when I spilled water on the floor and wiped it up it was pretty dirty. Nice big shower but if you don’t keep the bathroom door closed the fire alarm will chirp for a very long time—even with the fan in the bathroom on and window open. Lots of pillows and blankets make it comfy. Beds are a little too soft for me but that’s very specific to me. Gimmicky. Cute. I’d stay there again if I couldn’t find somewhere for less for same quality. Would give it a 4 if not for the $30 per day charge over base rate. ALSO. If you have an SUV the parking lot is VERY tight. I have a 4Runner and barely fit.

Cannot wait to stay again and again and again! This place is the best. Seriously, the best. Modern, hip, centrally located next to the Seattle Center, affordable, clean, amazing customer service from check in and beyond. I booked three rooms for me and my family over Thanksgiving and all of us are convinced that every hotel needs to be like this one. We had a families with kids and my parents, total of 10 guests. We all loved the afternoon cookies and refreshments, the complimentary refillable water bottle in our hotel room, and all the sweet doggies we met! The rooms are super comfortable and the beds were HEAVEN. Love the pineapple theme and the fun puzzles in the elevators. The little coffee bar in the lobby was really good too! Parking was $$$ but thats usual for downtown parking. There was a small indoor pool and a small fitness center that were both used during our trip. I cannot express how perfect the location is to downtown, monorail, queen anne eateries, and much more. A walk to Pike's would probably be 20 min max. We are already looking into other StayPineapple hotels in other locations - we are hooked! Thanks for the memorable stay.

Best spot in Seattle What a lovely welcoming hotel!! The Maxwell was the perfect spot to lay our heads on our mother-daughter getaway. THE most fluffy lovely beds. And beautifully quiet. Super funky fun interiors throughout the hotel and a lovely helpful staff. We absolutely loved it. Thank you!!

Stay here in Seattle! What a fun, unique hotel! We had a great stay from Nov 7th to the 11th. The staff absolutely made our stay the best! At check-in, Doran gave us cookies, which were delicious! He also was very helpful when I was unable to log into the hotel wi-fi by changing the password for us so we could access the TV. Sorry I didn't get the next staff members names, but when one afternoon I asked if they sold luggage tags as ours had fallen off, she asked how many and gave us two, no charge. At checkout on the morning of the 11th, a young man at the front desk gave us cookies for our trip home. We lost our water bottle our first day out and another young man gave us another one. You are all awesome, thanks so much! The hotel itself is exceptionally clean and the decor is bright and cheerful. Our room was very clean and we slept well, we asked for a room in a quiet area and it was wonderful. Had a great view. There's a fun wall "show" between the lobby area and the bar near the elevators, take time to watch. Cookies and coffee and tea are served in the afternoon in the lobby. We did eat breakfast at the coffee cafe a few day and found another cafe a few blocks over called Hagen which was good. There's several restaurants within walking distance and the Space Needle and Seattle Center are a short walk away. We will definitely stay again the next time we're in Seattle.

Pineapples Here, There and Everywhere! I celebrated my 65th birthday with Staypineapple, Maxwell in Seattle. The hotel and our room was very beautiful and comfortable. I'm not a fan of the European duvet. But I am a fan of the pillows. Front desk guru, Robin, provided us with a room with a view of the Space Needle. Location of The Maxwell is excellent.
