I’d return Great size rooms. Love the bathrooms. Hotel is quiet for the most part and good with noise complaints. I called and they found the room which was the noise was coming from and it went quiet quickly. Everyone was nice except the assistant manager. She’s rude and speaks to guests like they’re children. Makes a big deal out of small things that shouldn’t be brought up if you’re paying almost $90/night at that hotel. Anyways, besides that it’s a great location if you want something by the city and restaurants all around!

Would stay again - staff very helpful, rooms good, great area to walk for food Stayed here for a couple nights for work. Never been in the area before, so asked the staff a lot of questions. I would definitely stay again. Room was as expected for this hotel chain, and staff was wonderful - everyone I talked with was great and helping and answering my questions. Only "wishes" that would have made this 5 stars and best value for money: Free breakfast or maybe just a free Starbucks coffee (Starbucks in Lobby) Hotel shuttle to/from Newark Airport Traffic in area is rough. Do not drive if you can avoid it. There's another Marriott very close - would be great if there was a Marriott shuttle that would serve both hotels for airport runs. Too many single passengers in Ubers and Lyfts that contribute to the traffic problems.

Pretty good We were so grateful that we were able to check in early at around 10:30. Thank you! The woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. However, My husband lost a NY Rangers hat and went down at around 10:30 that night to ask desk if anyone found it maybe in the lobby. He said the woman on duty (different than the morning woman) was very unfriendly. After reading other reviews, there seems to be a pattern of inconsistencies when it comes to employee friendliness toward customers. The way customers are treated can make or break a Review. The room itself was fine. Nothing special but has everything one needs. It’s not often we stay at a hotel with no breakfast included. Not even a continental breakfast. The option is to purchase breakfast. We dined elsewhere. With the steep price of the hotel, breakfast should be included.

Good, But Some Issues Stayed at this hotel during a visit to the Meadowlands Racetrack. The hotel was located in a nice commercial district but the traffic in and around the hotel was heavy. Parking was in a garage behind the hotel and was free (rare!). The hotel was generally clean and well kept and had a bistro in the lobby. Good WiFi and TV selection. Tried to get a shuttle to the Meadowlands and they wouldn't do it. Had to ride in a cab about 1.5 miles and it was $26 each way. Also, I woke up the next morning and had several significant bites on my head and arms. The bites were red and inflamed. Not sure what kind of bug bite but it was pretty bad. Asked the hotel to check it out and provide me some relief on the rate. The hotel indicated that they had a company come in and check and there were no problems. Would not provide me a credit or anything. Basically just dismissed me as a nobody. And I'm a Marriott Rewards customer who stays pretty exclusively at Marriott Bonvoy properties. How do they treat other customers? I cannot recommend this hotel. You'll be better off staying at another property.

5+ STARS 1st... We arrived early and were greeted by Medina with a BIG smile & Hello, and immediately checked in with no problem. 2nd... The lobby pasted the eye test with flying colors and a Starbucks rite there was a Big bonus. 3rd... The King suite was Awesome!! The bed, bathroom,living room and the HUGE TV’s... WOW !! Everything about the room was perfect, neat, clean , great sheets & pillows 100% upgraded. 4th... The staff... From Medina at the front desk to the young lady who was in charge of the housekeeping department, the girl who took care of our room and the guys at the Starbucks !! 5 Stars 5th... The parking garage just outside the back doors was perfect, covered and safe. So overall 5+ STARS !! We definitely will be coming back. Thanks!!
