On the pricey end but good hotel, great location, decent pool and nice view We stayed here in May as part of our month long route 66 trip to the USA. We loved Sedona and we really liked Cedars resort. The location was great. The hotel room was a decent size. The views from the hotel balcony at the back were amazing. The pool was also good, though not heated.

THE ONLY REVIEW THAT MATTERS....MOTEL 8 WITH A VIEW. IT'S NOT A RESORT! In my lifetime of traveling, I have never stayed at a place that was so expensive, $300+ a night, and offered so little. The rooms are adequate, towels and bathrooms the quality of a Motel 8 - that may be an insult to Motel 8. There is no bar at this location, it's a shell of an establishment; you basically get a view - second floor only. But let's be real, all of Sedona is a view, don't waste your money there are so many nicer resorts, and I mean resorts, that will cost you the same if not less AND you'll get so much more! I was in a rush when I booked this place, big mistake, do not like overpaying for such low-grade accommodations. You've been warned.

Tired but good value Check in friendly and efficient. First impressions were that the property was a little run down. Quite an old feel with stained glass windows in bathrooms. Rooms clean and spacious with great views. Fridge a little too tiny. Not enough hanging or drawers for clothes. Pool area in need of a little tlc poor decking etc but the hot tub was lovely and warm, handrail a little loose. Location is great and for all its faults we’re going back in October for a couple of nights. It’s good value in a pricey town.

Check in before 4:00 is $100 extra!!! Even if your room is ready you can not check in until 4:00. One minute before is an extra $100. It does not say that on the website. The rude man said it is right on the sign. We are doing a pink jeep tour at 3:30 for 2 hours and wanted to go to the room a few minutes before. The front staff was rude. I hope the room is much better!!!

Nice view, request upstairs room Comfortable accommodation with parking. Nice view of the rocks from the room and you will hear the creek, although they recommend keeping the door to the balcony closed to keep out bugs. Great restaurants in walking distance which is important as parking can be problematic. The staff was very responsive. If you stay here request a room on the upper level. On the first level you get a lot of noise from your upstairs neighbors.
