Excellent Hotel with Great Views This is a 5 star hotel and with that comes some expectations. Our expectations were exceeded and we will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. All the amenities are great and the view/ambiance at the restaurant is amazing. Loved our stay. Beds were comfortable and the outdoor shower was amazing. Definitely book here if you want the best.

Idyllic establishment. It's like a dream - nestled below the red rocks and situated right next to the beautiful creek. We stayed in a lovely cottage and could hear the rushing creek. We ate breakfast next to the creek and dined in the excellent restaurant. We had a massage in the spa and it was just wonderful. The staff was stellar.

sadly a disappointment It seems that the property is sadly lacking a strategic plan to WOW their guests. From check in to departure what i observed was the staff was confused. there were some high spots but the overwhelming absence of continuity was troubling. The room was dirty and unprepared for guests, the food was generally VERY good and the staff made a diligent effort but the results just did not measure up.

Outstanding R&R Getaway Drove up from Phoenix in a torrential monsoon storm for a weekend getaway. Upon check-in, our original premiere creekside cottage was flooded. Our bellman immediately set our things on dresser and suggested we enjoy a comp glass of wine at happy hour while they get us moved. Within about 15 min we were moved to another cabin (a more private creekside location too!) and enjoying a beautiful weekend. The cabins are well thought out and clean, and the decor is current and luxurious. We found the bed almost as comfortable as home, appreciated that the dining table was a proper sized to sit at for in-room dining, and we loved the outdoor shower, and ample deck to lounge on! We generally found the staff gracious, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We had a little trouble with the tv at first, so they brought a fire stick for us to use for the weekend! Wanted popcorn for our movie, boom…microwave arrived. We enjoyed a bit of spa (beware the facilities are limited due to Covid). We both loved every minute of our treatments, but missed out on the full spa experience with the facility closure. We had a wonderful luxurious getaway despite the rain causing some minor inconveniences. Our expectations were met and needs attended to. I’m a little floored by some of the negative comments in reviews. The cabins are in close proximity to one another, so don’t expect a completely secluded experience. But for too-notch service (I’ve stayed in some other high-end spots like Post Ranch Inn, Essex House, etc.), and can genuinely say felt as pampered and equally or more attended to as any of these other lovely locales. The price tag is hefty, but if you’re 2020-21 has been a little rough, and you’re in need of a respite, book the room. If you find yourself disappointed then I can only guess you won’t be happy anywhere.

Pampering and perfect experience We came here for our honeymoon and it exceeded expectations. The resort staff is impeccable and the service and cabin we wonderful. We enjoyed a Swedish massage in the spa and we highly recommend getting one! It is located near the vortex’s and it is perfect location to hit some great restaurants and shops! We will be visiting again for our anniversary and staying at this resort!
