Great Place Love it great 9 hole course right down street. Room was nice although we should have booked a balcony room. Took a walk to the University which was well worth it. Beautiful campus fantastic buildings.

Perfect stay Excellent service, attention to details, comfortable room and great food. Location perfect for exploring beautiful vistas and enjoyable hiking on nearby trails. Very pleasant stay, staff was very accommodating and cheerful!

Far below expectations We were very disappointed that we chose to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary at the Sewanee Inn. The cost of a night’s stay far exceeded the value we received. In particular, I booked the Romantic Getaway package, and was astonished that a limited continental breakfast in the lobby was considered to be an adequate substitute for the “Breakfast in Bed” promised as part of our package. We were told that the reason for the unavailability of the breakfast in bed was that the restaurant was closed for breakfast. The Inn shouldn’t promise services it knows it can’t deliver, and if unforeseen circumstances arise that preclude provision of a promised service, a credit for another service of equal or greater value should be provided, with a sincere apology. In addition, the service, grounds, amenities and quality of dining were all far below the caliber one expects of an inn that charges nearly $425 per night for a room. In summary, we paid a 5-star price for a 1- or 2-star value.

A Hidden Gem My husband and I got away for a night to the Sewanee Inn after being pregnant/giving birth amidst the pandemic. The Inn was absolutely beautiful, the staff was top notch, and the room service was out of this world. I feel like the staff went above and beyond to ensure our safety. I’ve grown up going to Chattanooga and never thought to stop off at Sewanee. It really is a hidden gem. We will definitely be back!

Sewanee Inn Review The Sewanne Inn is truly a lovely place to stay! Very clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds and the bathroom was very lovely! The walk-in shower was Awesome! We were very close to my daughter’s home. 5 minutes away! Also, we were very close to all the amenities & restaurants that we like. The views were amazing! It’s located in a beautiful location for wildlife & bird watching. We will definitely stay there again.
