Edgewater Inn Shady Cove

Nice retreat on the Rogue River We needed a place to stay near Crater Lake and was pleasantly surprised when we discovered the Edgewater Inn. Our room had a nice patio next to the river and the hotel amenities such as pool, hot tub, and deck over the river were relaxing after a day of hiking. The staff was very helpful and addressed all our needs. There is not a breakfast included so we ate at Beckies Restaurant which is on the way to Crater Lake.

Visiting family This room is the second room we have been placed in and it smells so strongly of urine, it hurts, physically hurts- to breath. The front desk is closed, even though it is advertised as a 24/7 manned location. The floor is dirty, there are Q-tips spread out on the ground by the couch, making me feel as if this room was not cleaned properly- let alone up to the COVID standards that are supposed to be followed. This is disgusting. I will never stay here again. Save you money. Make the drive from Medford.

NO INTERNET!! If you want a place to relax and watch movies do not stay here. THERE IS NO INTERNET. ZERO. It is overpriced . For $150 per night should get wi-fi. The owners are veery deceptive in their webpage saying they have Wi-Fi in the rooms. This simply is not true. When we complained to the front desk the receptionist said 1) "We are full and too many people are using it", then when we complained again 2) "It only works in the lobby". This is simply deceptive. They do not have internet in the rooms at any distance from the lobby. On the other hand it is clean. Some rooms are close to the river and ours had a great view of the Rogue River. It is within walking distance of Miguel's Mexican Restaurant, and Mac's Cafe, a nice diner. This place is good for an overnight place to sleep. Not for a long weekend when you want to watch some movies with your honey. No internet. TV does not have Netflix nor YouTube.

Perfect little spot The Edgewater Inn is wonderful. The room was spacious, comfy & clean. Centrally located to anything you need but feel like your in the woods. Beautiful river view from our room. The Staff was pleasant & helpful. We will be back.

Needs some work… Tired hotel that is in desperate need of upgrades. Falsely advertising free breakfast included….that needs to be removed from the ads. Hiding behind Covid precautions to justify providing less services yet room fees are not reduced for less available amenities.
