This place is disgusting It’s so gross, it’s comical! Our room REEKED of sewer. It practically slaps you in the face with the stench the second we walked in. The sheets caused my boyfriend to break out in a rash all over his body. TVs barely work. AC barely works. You can hear full conversations from the rooms next door and outside because the walls are so thin. But the BEST part was the rusted shower in the middle of the room with no door so water sprays everywhere, yet the pressure is so bad that it takes a year to wash your hair. That is...once you can figure out how to turn the shower on. I feel like I’ve been camping. The pool is so murky and full of everyone’s oils and sunscreens that you can’t see the bottom of the 4 feet. Never again.

Hotel BAD!!! Worst place to stay, way too expensive for what you pay for. Lighting is horrible in room. One little bitty lamp next to bed, shower is in jacuzzi tub very unsafe to get in and out of and rust everywhere in tub, and bathroom tile and floor. Little itty-bitty trash cans that you're supposed to put your foot or hand on, wow that's definitely a COVID-19 Hazzard. Very, very disappointed no way can call this even a one star hotel.

Overpriced for product delivered Do not be seduced by cheap prices or access to beach. This hotel is right out of the 1970s and looks like it. Holes in the bathroom walls around plumbing fixtures, shower in corner tub only but no safe way to step in/out of tub, no shower curtain and no curtain on bathroom window. Window in bedroom area unlocked and even open. No lighting in room other than the ceiling fan and one teeny tiny lamp. Many guests complaining about getting ripped off

Perfect location My husband and I decided to visit Siesta Key for our 30th anniversary. We were extremely happy with our choice of the Siesta Key Beach Resort. The location is incredible - minutes away from the beach, the restaurants, shops and the free trolley. We are already planning our next stay.

Resort Fee But No Resort Amenities I’ll start with the positives. The location is perfect and the staff is very nice. The negatives are more extensive. The resort fee baffles me because there is basically a small hotel pool. I’ve stayed at many resorts and this isn’t one. We also had a cooler and 1 beach chair in our room. We could hear every word the people in the next room were saying through the adjoining door. The floors in our room were so dirty you couldn’t walk around barefoot. They ran the leaf blower outside of our room every morning at exactly 9:00 am. Finally check-in is late at 4:00pm and check-out was at 10:00 am. Siesta Key is great but I will definitely try different accommodations next time.
