Weekend getaways Ok hotel, when I booked this hotel I was told I'd have a ground floor room. They don't even have rooms on the bottom floor. The courtyard was all locked up, so no where to sit outside. Rooms were good. Staff was great accept the check in/ out staff. Close to everything.

terrific hotel in a great location This hotel was really nice. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful on things to see downtown. The location was also outstanding. There is so much to do near by and it is very convenient. We were very pleased with our stay.

I was not impressed. I used to stay here offer pre Covid. Not even close to same hotel. My floor was sticky. My eleven year d son, wife, and I did not want to walk on the carpet. Our socks would kind of stick to the carpet. When I went down to the lib t and politely asked for a couple of sheets I was told it would be a few minutes. About 15 minutes later a security guard gave me 3 pillow cases and said that’s all they had. I was pretty upset at this point and said that was not acceptable. A few minutes later he brought 1 blanket and said here this is bigger. That is BS - I do t need to pay 225 to walk on a sticky carpet and then feel like a jerk because I ask for some sheets to cover the carpet. Thanks for treating g your loyal customers like that …

Sleepless in Sioux Falls Great location, but bring your earplugs because they don't do anything about noisy guests in the wee hours. If you are here for weekdays, it will probably be great. During our stay, there were two wedding receptions with some pretty thumping music and shouting that carried on until after midnight, at which point, the inebriated guests returned to their rooms and continued the party. The floor above us was apparently reserved for a clog dancing convention because loud stomping carried on at least until we were finally so exhausted that we fell asleep and probably it continued well beyond that. _ When my son checked out of his room, he complained about the noise and was told that it's been much worse. _‍_ If you like to party all night, this is definitely the place for you. If you are looking for a peaceful night's sleep, you probably need to look somewhere else.

Very centrally located hotel I was delighted with my stay at the Holiday Inn Sioux Falls Downtown. Parking was easy and free and there was plenty of space. The check-in area was quite busy, but I was on my way to the room within a few minutes. With the keys, I received two vouchers for a $5 discount at the bar, which also seemed to be the restaurant in the evenings. The room was of the type I had reserved, but with a little extra, it had a balcony, which was a pleasant surprise. It offered a nice view of Philips Avenue. The room had a (quiet) refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, and two complimentary water bottles. I liked the writing desk with wheels underneath so it could be put in front of the window. The hotel had an extensive self-service shop, at the self-pay station the items could be charged to the room so you could earn loyalty points. In the morning, copies of newspapers were available in the lobby. The hotel is perfectly located downtown and close to the waterfalls. You can walk to those falls in about fifteen minutes, passing through a new, modern part of the city where you’ll find several more restaurants and bars. Sioux Falls is a very pleasant, clean, and artistic city with lots of street art. In the summertime, the hotel is situated along the Sculpture Walk, a temporary yearly exhibition featuring approximately 75 artworks, which are primarily displayed along Philips Avenue. In America, sculpture art can often be pretty kitschy, but in Sioux Falls they seem to have a far better taste than the rest of the country. Weekends offer free live concerts in Summer, about five minutes from the hotel.
