The best hotel My family and I go to Skytop every year around Christmas for my grandparents and cousins birthday. It is so much fun and really festive around Christmas. They have so many activities like ice skating and the tree lighting but my personal favorite is when we play this game and you pick a number and hope they didn’t pick your number then whoever wins gets to be at the front of the line when you go all around the building. My cousin and I have won twice once in 2019 and last year. When we go every year that’s when you know it’s Christmas time. I love this place so much and it holds so many memories with my family. Highly recommend and don’t forget to bring your grandparents!

July 4th Fireworks Skytop did such an amazing job with their 4th of July celebration. A very special thanks to Corey the shuttle driver for giving our extremely frightened little grandson his noise canceling head phones. This calmed him down and he was able to watch the entire fireworks display! Thank you Corey and everyone at Skytop for the best 4th of July celebration ever.

Good weekend get away. Enjoyable weekend. Special shout out to Amazi at the concierge desk. He went above and beyond to help us. _ Ground was well maintained. Pool was mostly empty so was lovely and relaxing. Nice hiking trails. Food was hit or miss. Service good.

Great stay! Would return! Wonderful stay, this place has it all! History, lovely grounds, lots to do, good food, nice people! Lots of employees on hand interested in helping guests and ensuring the place thrives! Alex was kind to help us switch rooms without judging :), Robertus was super personable with us and we saw him going above and beyond late at night cleaning up; Robert also helped with our bags and was flexible, helpful, and friendly. Shuttle driver Kim (and Clay?) were also helpful—all drivers were actually! We appreciated the gesture for our anniversary! Classy touch—thank you Sky Top Team! We look forward to returning!

Old world charm in the Poconos Just spent a weekend at Skytop. The lodge is a beautiful old stone building. I stayed in the lowest cost room (deluxe king) which was not cheap ($400 a night). I was little nervous about the bathroom ahead of time based on some of the reviews. However, the room was actually pretty nice. Updated, clean carpet and good heat. There were plenty of bottles of water, which were free and replenished daily. The bathroom was fine - there was a (small) bathtub and shower combo. The breakfast buffet was very good. The library bar and the food at the Lakeview Restaurant were excellent. Service was outstanding all over the resort. There were plenty of activities included (skiing, tubing, hiking, bikes etc) that actually justify the price if you plan ahead. Overall a really good experience.
