Fantastic Fun & Great Value for Families We discovered Smuggs in a google search and took a chance driving 17 hours from the Southeast with 3 kids under 8 - and it did not disappoint! We played both disc golf courses, checked out all the pools & Basin, hit up the FunZone when it rained several afternoons and most of all, my older kids (7 &3) loved the introduction to mountain biking! We only left the resort 1 day to do things in the surrounding area, because we were having so much fun. We did buy groceries and bring them with us, but the resort general store had a couple things we forgot and I’d consider their grocery delivery next time! The accommodations at Liftside were somewhat dated, but I had seen that in reviews. They were very spacious (more than I expected), clean and conveniently located to the heart of the resort and special programming. The free washer/dryer in our building was plus since we were there for a week. Hands down would go again and recommend it to friends. It was such a great value for the money! Because we stayed a week the 7th night was free, and my 1.5 yo was free too I think.

Great family vacation at Smuggler's Notch We've been to Stowe twice before, but this was our first time at Smuggler's Notch. What a great decision! My husband and I love the hiking in the surrounding mountains, but the kids prefer a bit more variety and a lot more swimming. With this resort, everyone got to do things they enjoyed each day. The pools and waterslides were big hits, as was the FunZone, especially for our youngest. Meanwhile, we enjoyed the onsite trails and were close to some of the great hikes in Smuggler's Notch. My kids say this was the best vacation they've ever had. We were sad to leave!
