ROOM 101 - THE WORST ROOM EVER I'm writing this review to spare anyone from booking Room 101. It's the worst room ever! We are here right now and I don't think I can last for 2 more nights. I don't usually get bothered by noise as we have a sound machine and have gone to hotels that have a lot of traffic outside / close to the elevator, but this room is the noisiest room. It's so close to the hot tub outside that people are using it 'til past midnight. Also you can hear the footsteps and screeching of chairs and tables from the room above. This was happening 'til 3am. There is no management in the property so no regulations whatsoever. You will not want to book this room if you are a light sleeper. This is by far the worst stay we've had. And hopefully I can save someone from booking this room.

Rimfire 347 is the best 1/1 Rimfire Lodge is the best location on the mountain. Ski inn ski out or bike in bike out. The restaurants and shops are actually on the first floor of the building. You get key access to locker rooms and the fitness area. The jacuzzis have that great west view. Unit 347 is on the West side and has a fantastic balcony view. Summer is great here too. Visit the Snowshoe Mountain website. Lots of rooms and common areas are being upgraded. Rimfire 347 is a deluxe unit.

Perfect Location for a Ski Holiday This is a wonderfully situated ski resort complete with fully stocked spacious condos, ski storage, ski in and ski out access, hot tubs and underground parking. It’s right in the village and close to the ski lift. The condos are fully equipped and have lots of space for lounging and sleeping. The facilities are clean and well kept.

Relaxing AND adventurous I’ve noticed a lot of negative reviews for this condo so I wanted to give my two cents. I was completely satisfied with my room. I stayed in 210 B which is a Brigham collection type hotel room. It is a little bit more modern and small but that’s what I wanted for our getaway. We had a beautiful view and were able to watch the sunset. The hot tub was relaxing with an amazing view as well and the jets worked great! Yes it could use a little upkeep but it was very relaxing. Being that it is summer time I had it to myself most of the time. Access to the village was right outside the door with Starbucks right below us. It was very quiet during our stay and that’s probably because it was summer time…. I think we had one neighbor. Yes the hallways and such are a little outdated however this is a resort for activities. Skiing, Lake activities, mountain biking, hiking… They are all going to track in dirt and water, etc. So I think it’s to be expected. I know some people have complained about the small size of the exercise room, but aren’t most people here to do some outside type exercises? I enjoyed the spa with a pedicure and relaxing hot stone massage and loved the ladies working there. They were all down to earth and very attentive. We did not have one bad meal on the mountaintop. Yes you are going to pay higher prices for your meals and your Starbucks….. but you have to imagine that getting these things up here on the mountain in the beautiful middle of nowhere is no easy task, especially with the prices of fuel nowadays. Everyone we met at the shops and just other visitors were very pleasant. I loved sitting in the village area around the fire pits and just taking it all in. There was a view no matter where you go. Enjoy the outdoors!
