Snowboarding at Snowshoe Good bed and breakfast in Snowshoe. Being a transplant from the West Coast and spending many a run at Mammoth, I wasn't expecting much in West Virginia. But Snowshoe was a pleasant surprise! This B&B is within walking distance to Upper Flume, bus stop across the street to the resort area, and access to on call shuttle. Room and bed was average.

Isolated, yet next to everything.... Spent only one night at SN, but found it to be a delightful stopover. It is up on the mountain very close to the slopes at Snowshoe and yet tucked away in the woods. Room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was pretty much on your own, but we did have free run of the kitchen. We were warned of the bear, but never saw it. Great little stop in the mountains of West Virginia.

Comfortable Perfection In The Mountains! Wow! Such a comfortable and unique retreat! The rooms are gorgeous and immaculate. Amazing views. If you need anything at all, Jill Tenney, the manager, is genuinely and absolutely happy to make your experience perfect. I was in walking distance from everything and/or the shuttle...but felt like I was tucked away within the pine trees. There was not a moment that I wasn't in a complete state of bliss when staying at Serenity Now. Stay here or stay home.

Wonderful Ski Retreat My husband and I drove up from South Carolina for a long weekend ski trip at Snowshoe. The booking process was a breeze; Mary Beth was so accommodating and easy to talk to. Our stay at the home was beyond perfect. The house is absolutely gorgeous. The two guest rooms are on the bottom floor, each with their own bathroom. There are plenty of windows to view the beautiful woods while still having plenty of privacy. The kitchen/eating area/family room are located on the third floor with a cozy fireplace right in the middle. The home is so lovely and comfortable. We were very pleasantly surprised at how convenient the location was: There is a shuttle service provided which picks you up right at the top of the driveway as well as a bus stop only a few yards just across the street. Even better, it was less than a five minute walk from the front door to the slopes at "Top of the World". We loved our experience here, not just because of the great accommodations, but also because of the fantastic hosts. We felt right at home and are so thankful for finding Serenity Now.

Heavenly Mountain Retreat We were so welcomed by Mary Beth and became fast friends. The home is a beautiful southwest decor and is very quiet with lots of privacy in a high-end residential neighborhood in beautiful mountain country. Excellent value. We were given free reign of the home and were treated like welcome guests. Our room was spacious and we had an exercise room next door. Warning: not suitable for those with mobility issues or small children due to narrow spiral staircase.
