Winners Circle Resort

Great location Great location in Solana beach. Units are a bit retro and could stand some updating. Units are large and the resort staff are accommodating. Did have an issue with ants. Great pool area! Comfy king sized bed.

ANTS and terrible customer service- Go elsewhere I don’t usually like to share bad reviews but I’m hoping to help my fellow travelers by sharing my experience. The front desk staff is unmotivated and annoyed by guests asking questions or checking in. I know from my checkin experience and by waiting in the lobby for my room to be ready. The property is in a pretty convenient location with restaurants on both sides. The pool area is great with multiple BBQ grills. Perfect for a larger group. The room was pretty nice. There are 2 bathrooms in the 1 bedroom unit and that made things more convenient. The shower in the master is very narrow so I typically used the second bathroom in the living room to shower. Everything would have been great except for the ANTS. There were ants wandering throughout the unit in every single room. I saw ants in the bathrooms, on the living room carpet, bedroom, and tons in the kitchen. It made my stay miserable. I was constantly making sure that my daughter didn’t drop any food anywhere because that would mean a huge trail of ants. I’ve never experienced an issue with ants in my LIFE like I did at this property. Unless you want to be treated dismissively by the staff and have to deal with an ant infestation, I recommend you stay elsewhere. **** I stayed at 2 different units on this property (for 2 separate reservations) and ants were an issue in both units.

Great stay Overall experience was great, very well located. The area is very nice and safe and the hotel has quick access to highways. The room was spacious and clean, beds very comfortable. The pool/Jacuzzi area was great, used the bbq grills a couple of times, the whole family had a great time.

Great resort and location The facility is well maintained by the staff, which we observed early each morning by maintenance. The pool and bbq was pristine each day. The front desk was helpful to provide maps and grocery recommendations nearby. We will definitely stay here again.

winners circle 2024 came back after 5 years, at that time you could fairly say as my daughter said it should have been named Losers Circle Vast improvements in all phases as per my scoring, would recommend highly and look forward to coming back
